Let’sremainstandingnow,withourheadsbowed. Lord, may this not only be a song, but be the very depths ofourheartsingingout,“NowIbelieve!”Thedisciplessaidonetime,afterJesushaddonesomanymightyworks,theysaid,“Lord,nowwebelieve.” Jesussaid,“Doyounowbelieve?”2 They said, “We believe that Thou knowest all things and needthat no man teach Thee.” So, Father, tonight we realize that Youdon’tneedourteaching,butweneedYours.SowepraythatYou’llteach us how to pray, how to live, and how to believe. Grant it,Lord,throughthisservicetonight.Ifwelackanything,giveittous,Lord.WeaskitinJesus’Name.Amen.3 I know many of you are standing again tonight. And, outside,met groups that said they couldn’t get in, and they’re listening totheir radio in thedifferentcars.Andnowwe’ll try tomake justasquickaswecantonight,onSundaynight,wegiveovertoprayforthe sick,haveaprayer line aswe cangetoneuphere.Butwearededicatingthisservicetonightforprayerforthesick.4 AndIwantyoutogetbuiltupnowinthe^thisHolyOraclesof God, in the Faith, the Faith of this hour. The Faith! It’s goingto take more faith than ever was in any age, for this has to berapturingfaith,betakenup.Andsowewantyoutobelievetonightin all that you have seen, heard, the Word that you have heardpreached,the_thesignsandwondersthatyouhaveseendone.Wewantyoutoaccumulateallthattogetherinyourheart,andconsiderit,whetherifthatbeGodornot.5 IslikeElishaofold,said,“IfGodbeGod,thenserveHim.”Andif Jesus is the centerofall things to theChristian, then I thinkweoughttoletlooseofeverythingelseandcleavetoHim.Remember,HeistheCenter,HeistheNorthStar,HeistheUltimate,Heisthe

Absolute. And if He is the North Star^There’s only one thingthat’llpointtothenorthstar,that’syourcompassthatyou’resailingwith.AndtheCompassthatI’mtryingyoutosailwithistheWord,andtheWordalwayspointstoHim.6 Andwefeellikethatwe’regoingthroughagreattimeofdistressand trials, perplexity of the time and distress between the nations,and all kinds of things happening, and sometimes I get engulfedlikeÊverywhereIlook,it’slikeonaînashipoutonthesea.AndI’vebeengivechargeoftheBoat.Andhowwegoingtomakeit?Andherecomesonewithawhitecap,hundredtimesbiggerthanmyship.Butwe’llcrestthem,everyone.“WearemorethanvictorsthroughHim.”TheCaptain,theChiefCaptain,hasgotaholdofthestringontheendoftheship,He’llpullitthrough.We’llcresteveryoneofthem.7 Now, tonight, so we can hurry and let you get out early. Weappreciate your long drives, and so forth, and how you have todrive, and the sacrifice you have to make. And, see, that makesme to where I’d just like to stand and just keep talking and doingeverything I can to help you. But when I’m here I try to press ineverything that I possibly can, to give help for that moment thatwe’renowhere.ThenyoutakeÎfyougivepeopletoomuchatatimetheycan’trememberit.You_you’vegottojusttakeonethingand hold it right to the person until they see that. And then whenthey get that solid in their heart, then they’ll^then teach themsomethingelse.Juststepbystepaswego.8 Now, you pray and be of a good courage, and believe nowtonightforhealing.Idon’tthinkthere’sanyquestioninyourmindabout the time we’re living. I don’t believe there’s a question inyourmindaboutwhetherGodisinthemidstofHispeopleornot.Ibelieveyouallbelievethat.AndI^There’snodoubtinmymindabout it. And I_I_I know my people, my friends, the friends ofChrist,thechildrenof_ofChrist,believethat.9 AnditgivesmegreatpleasuretogettoseewhenyouknowthatyouhaveaMessagefromGod,andyougiveittothepeopleandseethe people respond to That. Then you look back and say, “ThankYou,Father.”Oh,whatajoyitisthentoseethechildreneatingtheBreadthat’sbeensenttothem!Yourealizethatwasavisionyearsago,righthereatthistabernacle?That’sright,“TheBreadofLife.”BrotherNeville,yourememberit,might.Mightytime!10 Now let us turn, if you want to follow the reading or markit down, justÎ don’t believe it would be appropriate to have aservice without reading God’s Word and passing a few comments,if it’sgoingtobeahealingserviceoranykind.Weallunderstand.

There’s no strangers among us, I suppose. But we all understandwhathealing is. It’snothing that somebodydoes foryou; it’swhatGod has already done for you. Salvation is on the same line. Theonlything,is,togetthepeopletobelievethat’stheTruth.AndGodteachesitinHisWordandthenprovesittothemwhowillbelieveIt,forHesaid,“Allthingsarepossibletothemthatbelieve.”11 You say, “There’s nothing impossible with God.” You believethat?There’snothingimpossiblewithyou,either.“Forallthingsarepossibletothem,”(GodisonePerson)“tothemthatbelieve.”See?Sothere’snothingimpossiblewithyou,foryou,ifyoucanonlybelieve.12 Now in First Kings, the 17th chapter, I want to read the firstsevenverses,theLordwilling.

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

And the word of the lord came unto him, saying,Get thee hence, and turn eastward,turn thee eastward, and

hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.And it shall be, that thou shalldrink of the brook; and I have

commanded the ravens to feed thee there. Notice,“feedtheethere,”notsomewhereelse.“There!”

So he went and did according unto theLord,orthe word of the lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

13 The Lord add His blessings to the reading of His Word. Andnow, tonight, I want to take a text from there, that’s called,“spiritual Food in Its season.” This morning we had a_a lessonon_on“DoingGodaservice,ortryingtodoHimaservicewithoutbeing^-outbeing the time, the season, theplace,or theperson.”Andnowthisis:Spiritual Food In Due Season.14 This prophet, Elijah, we know very little about him. But weknow that he was God’s servant, and the servant of God for thathour.15 AndGodhasusedHisSpiritthatwasuponElijah,alreadythreetimes, and promises twice more; five times, for grace. He used It

uponElijah;ItcameonElishainadoubleportion;wasonJohntheBaptist;andsupposedtocomejusttoissueintheGentileBride;andcome with Moses to take the Jews home. That’s right. Five timesthat God promises to use the Spirit of Elijah, and already done itthreetimes.16 Now, this great prophet, we don’t know where he come from.WeknowhewasaTishbite.Buthowhecome^17 Weknow littleabout theprophets.Wedon’tknowwhere theycomefrom.Veryseldom^As,Idon’tknowofanythatcomeoutofthechurchorhadanygenealogybehindthem.Itwasjustordinarymenthatwasfearless,and,manytimes,uneducated.Andtheyneverdoneanywriting,themselves.IsaiahandJeremiah,acoupleofthem,donesomewritings,butthisgreatmanElijahneverwroteonething.Manyofthemdidn’twrite;maybetheycouldn’twrite.Buttheywerementhatwererugged.There’snomanintheBiblelikethoseancientprophets. They defied kingdoms, kings, peoples, churches, andeverythingelse,andstoodfirmontheWordofGod,andGodprovedthemtoberight.Theywereveryruggedindividuals.18 AndthisElijahwasoneoftheruggedestofallofthem.Hewasamanofthewilderness.Hecameoutofthewilderness;helivedinthe wilderness. The Bible said he dressed hairy. He had sheepskinwrappedaroundhim,andapieceofleather,ofcamelskinwrappedaroundhisloins,very^whiskersoverhisface,andI’dimaginehewasaveryrugged-lookingman,andtolookat.19 Butwedidn’t^theyalldidn’talldie.They’renotall_alldead.In thedaysof theNiceneCouncil,manyofyoupeople that’s readThe Nicene Council of the Early Church, whentheywantedtomakean organization out of it and break up all the other churches, andcomeintoone,whentheyhadthatNiceneCouncil,ruggedmenlikeElishacome in there fromthewilderness,eatingherbsalone;greatrugged men. But the dignitaries, the high-ups, under Constantine,and so forth, stilled their voice. Because those, being prophets,knowedthatthecornofwheatoftheChurchBridehadtofallintheground,thesameasacornofwheatintheBridegroomhadtofallintheground.Andthereitlaidforathousandyears.20 That’swhytheywriteinthebookstoday,“WhereisthatsilentGod that could stand and look, see little children murdered, andwomentore topiecesby lions,andsit in theskiesandsaynothingabout it?”Theydon’tknowtheWord.Thatcornofwheat’sgottofall intheearth.HowcouldarighteousGodstandandlookatHisOwnSondieandbespiton,andsoforth?Butit’saccordingtotheWord,ithastobe.Andthat’sthewayitiseventothishour.


21 Thisman,hewasagreatman.Hehadasinfulgenerationbeforehim.Ahabwasking,hisfatherbeforehimhadbeenevil.EversinceSolomon, there just been one evil king after the other. And thisman,Ahab,whoreignedtwenty-twoyearsinSamaria,wastheworstof all of them. He was a real modernist. He believed in religion,certainly.Andhehadeverythinginamoderntrend.Hehadhisfourhundred Hebrew prophets, all of them well-schooled and trained.Godsenthimoneandhewouldn’tbelieveit,andthatwasElijah.22 But Elijah, this Tishbite, was a man of the wilderness. Not asmooth man; he was a rugged man. And one day, after Ahab hadsinneduntilGodcouldstanditnomore,HespoketoElijahinthewilderness. And here he comes down the road to Samaria, as I’veoften illustrated;maybe thewhitewhiskers stickingoutaroundhisface,baldheadshininginthesun,littleoldnarroweyes,backtherewithastickinhishand,asmileinhisface,walkedrightuptothekingofIsrael,andsaid,“The^NotevendewwillfalltillIcallforit.”23 God give us men like that, see, men who know what they’redoingwithTHUSSAITHTHELORD.24 Now, we find out that before he did this, that God had calledhim. God had talked to him and, therefore, he wasn’t afraid ofanything. He wasn’t afraid of his message, it wouldn’t happen; heknoweditwouldhappen!HeknoweditwasaccordingtotheWordof the Lord, and he knowed he was God’s prophet for the hour.Therefore whether the king would cut his head off, throw him injail, whatever they’d do, it made no difference to him; he had acommission,“THUSSAITHTHELORD,”right inthefaceoftheking. What a rugged person! But before he did this, predicted thisgreatdrought^25 For God will not let sin go unpunished. There must bepunishment. What good is a law without a_a punishment? Whatwoulditdogood,say,“it’sagainstthelawtorunthelight,”andnofinebehindit,ornopunishmentbehindit?Itwouldn’tbealaw.Sothere’sapunishment tosin.AndwhenGodmakesa law,andthatlaw_lawisdefied,thenthere’sgottobepunishmentforthat.26 And this nation had violated all of His laws. Oh, they had bigchurch,theyhadthetemple.Theyhadplentyofeducatedmen.Theyhadprophetsalloverthecountry,hadschoolsofthem,turningthemoutlikeamachine.Andtheyhadplentyofprophets,theyhadplentyof_of priests, they had plenty of scribes, and they had plenty ofreligion,buttheywereawayfromtheWordofGod.SoGodcalledamanoutsideofanyoftheirranksatall,andsenthiminwithTHUSSAITHTHELORD.

27 And notice how He cares for His Own. Before He sent thisprophetwith themessage,Hesaid,“Elijah,godownand tellKingAhabthesethings.Andnow,whenyoudo,getyourselfawayfromhim right quick, for I have made a place for you to go during thedrought.I’mgoingtotakecareofyou,Elijah,ifyoujustpreachMyWord,dojustwhatItellyoutodo.”28 NowI’mgoingtotypethisgreatministry,tonight,ofElijahandthetimeofElijah,withthehourthatwe’renowin.IbelieveIt’saperfecttype.Ithinkofthenations^ifI^wehadtimetogoback,butIwanttoputplentyoftimeintheprayerline.29 Soifwecouldgobackandsee,IsraelhadtakenPalestineuponthe samebasis thatwe took thisUnitedStates.Wecome into thisUnitedStatesanddrovebacktheoccupants,whichwastheIndians,andpossessedtheland.AndsodidIsraelcomeintoPalestine,underleadershipofJoshua,underGod,anddrovebacktheoccupantsandtooktheland.30 And their first kings were mighty men; David, Solomon, andgreat man. Our first presidents were great men; Washington,Lincoln, and so forth. Then finally the presidents or the kingsbecomegettingmore rottenall the time,and finally theyendedupwith thisAhab.Very type, typicalofourday.And thepeoplehadgotsomoderntheydidn’twanttohearthetrueWordoftheLord.31 Andyoucanimagine,onamodernpeoplelikethat,whatarealtrueservantofGodwouldsoundliketothem.“Why,hewascrazy,hewasoutofhismind.Therecouldn’tbesuchathing.”Theywerereligious, very religious. They had sincere men, they had sincerepeople.Theywasveryreligious.32 So he knew that it would take more than just a ordinarytheology, it would take more than_than any ordinary message, itwouldtakemorethanjustpreachingtheWord,tocracktheirstonyhearts.HeknowedittookTHUSSAITHTHELORDtosendthatjudgmentdownuponthatpeople,soheknowedthatwhenhewentout with THUS SAITH THE LORD. And it was THUS SAITHTHELORD.TospurnThat,wasjudgment.Weseethatinourday,too.Weseethatinanyday.There’snothingleftbutjudgmentwhenyoustepoverthelineofmercy.33 Now, that type there, that, I’m going to type Elijah withthe church today, the church of today. Just before judgment, hereceived this message. Elijah, he represented, being cared for inthe natural, his natural food, because it wasn’t going to rain now,according to the Word of God, for three years and six months, oruntil Elijah called for it. “Whatever time you say, Elijah, that’s


what it’ll be.” Therefore he walked up to the king, and said,“There’ll not even be dew fall till I call for it.” That’s quite a_aload,isn’tit?That’squiteamessage!34 Andnowwe’regoingtotypethatwiththespiritualdroughtoftoday. Now, we all know, we are very aware, that there is a greatspiritual drought in the land today, spiritually speaking. And, youknow, that was predicted by the prophets, just before the secondComing of Christ would be, said, “There will come a famine intheland,anditwon’tbeforbreadalone,butforthehearingoftheWord of God.” And that day is now, “hearing the true Word ofGod.”Now,thistypesthenaturaldroughtwiththespiritual.35 Sinandunbelief,byfalseteachersandmodernistsinthechurch,had brought the place to this coming, oncoming judgment. Thenthey had turned from God’s Word and His prophet, to a moderntheologicaltermsoftheWord.36 Younoticehere,it’sjustatthattimethatGodalwaysraisesupsomething.Cause,He,always,HedoesnothinguntilfirstHerevealsittothepeople,andHealwaysrevealsitbyHisservants.37 Now,butElijah,duringthistime,hadasecretplacethatGodhadordainedforhimtogoto.That’sthethingwewanttoseenowjustbeforewehavetheprayerline.ElijahhadasecretplaceprovidedbyGodHimself.Now, thechurchneverprovided it forhim, thekingneverprovideditforhim,hedidn’tprovidehisself,butGodprovideda secret place for Elijah to be fed all the time during the drought,wherehisfoodwasprovideddaybyday.Hedidn’tneedtowonderwhat’sgoingtohappentomorroworwonder if thesupplyrunout.Godsaid,“Ihavecommandedtheravensandthey’llfeedyou.”Whatawonderfulthing,atypeofoursecretplaceinChrist.38 When the world council and all that’s going on today, thatsays, “The days of miracles is past.” The great powers of God hasbeen taken out of the churches. They seem like, anymore, theydon’t have nothing but “a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal.”We know that to be the truth. “And form of godliness, anddenyingthePowerthereof.”39 It’s just the same thing that David did, this morning, with theoxcarts,gotaway fromtheWord.When theWordwaspresentedand give to them, they did not want It; therefore, they had gottenawayfromIt.40 That’swhatthesepeoplehaddoneinthedaysofElijah,gottenaway from the Word. They thought they had the Word, but theydidn’thaveIt.Sonoticetheninthe^

41 DuringthetimethatHewasgoingtopunishtheunbeliever,Hemadeawayforthebeliever.ThesamethingHedoeseachtime.InthedayswhenHewasgoingtodestroytheworldbywater,HemadeawayofescapeforNoah.InthedaysthatHewasgoingtodrownEgypt,HemadeawayofescapeacrosstheseaforHispeople.HowGodmakesHisway!Andwherethereisnoway,HeisthatWay.HeisthatWay!42 Now we realize that we are facing some of the^one of thegreatest hours that history has ever known. It isn’t exactly thewarhead with the bright shiny missile, with a head on it, that weshouldbeafraidof.It’sthechurchesweshouldbeafraidof.It’sthehourthatwe’relivingthatweshouldwatch.43 Now notice, but God made a way for Elijah to escape it. AndHehasmadeawayforHisbelievingchildrentoescapeitnow,thewrathandthingsthatistocome.44 Because, God could not be just to judge those people andsend them punishment, and sink Sodom and Gomorrah, andsink Capernaum in the middle of the sea, and condemn thosegenerations,andSodomandGomorrah,andthenletusdothesamething and get by with it. We’re just as sure for judgment as theyweresureforjudgment.Nowwenoticethatthe^45 Whenthesethingscomeup,themoderntrendofthatday,Godroseupamaninthatday,orraisedupaman,rather,tocombattheforces, and they wouldn’t listen to it. They thought he was crazy,“Hehad losthismind.Hewas justsomeoldfanatic, fool fromthewilderness,kindabush-crazed.”But,yet,hehadtheWordoftheLord.46 “The Word doesn’t mean what It says,” they say today. “Oh,well,theBibleisahistorybook.”Iguessyou’veseenthis,thatnowthey claim, that, “Eve didn’t eat the apple, she eat a^” Whatwas it? I believe^ “It was a apricot,” they say now. “It was anapricot.”Andthen,that,“MosesneverbroughtthechildrenthroughtheRedSea. Itwasabigbunchof reeds,up theotherendof thatsea,andhewentthroughaseaofreeds.”Thenhowdidthewater,w-a-t-e-r, wall up on both sides; they went through on dry land,then?Oh,suchnonsense!But,yousee,ittakesthatkindofadaytobringGod’swrathdownuponthepeople.Itdoesit.47 They say there’s no such a thing as_as these^Even churchpeopledon’tbelieve inmiracles.“I’llgiveyoua thousanddollars,”they said, “show me a miracle. Show me a miracle!” Well, theycouldn’t see it if there was ten thousand things done before them.Why,they,they’dneverseeit.

Yousay,“That’stheimpossible.”Oh,no,itisn’t.


48 Elijah one time was down at Dothan, and the Syrian armyhad come over and surrounded the city, to take him, because theyknowedthat’swherethe_thenation’spower laid,was inthatseer.Why,theking^OneofthementoldthekingofSyria,said,“Why,you know, Elijah the prophet, the Tishbite, tells the king of Israelwhatyoutalkaboutinyoursecretchamber.”49 Said, “Go get that guy! That’s the fellow that’s hindering us.”AndthewholeSyrianarmyslippedinaroundDothan.Theywasallaroundit.50 And Gehazi, the_the servant of the prophet, woke up, andhe said, “Oh, my father, the armies is all around us here. We’recompletelysurrounded.”51 Hesaid,“Why,thereismorewithusthanthereiswiththem.”See? AndGehazilookedaround,said,“Idon’tseenobody.”52 He said, “Lord God, open up that boy’s eyes.” And his eyesopened up, and all the hills was full of Angels and chariots sittingaround,theunseenForces.53 Elijah walked right out there, and the Bible said, “He smotethem blind.” He walked out to them; they were blind to him.Walkedoutandsaid,“AreyoulookingforElijah?” Hesaid,“Yes,we’relookingforhim.”54 Said,“Comeon,tellyourightwherehe’sat,”andledthemrightinto ambush, right straight where the armies walked right out andgotthem.55 Now, the Bible said, “He smote them blind.” That settles it.Andpeoplearesospiritualblindtoday,thoughtheLordGodcomedown in the midst of the people and do anything, and the thingsHepromised,theystillcan’tseeIt.Theyarespirituallyblind;don’tknowGod,don’tknowHisgreatPower.Now,wenoticethattheydidthatinthedaysofElijah,andtheystilldoittoday.Godsmitesthemblind.Theysaytoday,that,“Thereisnomiracles,thereisnosuchathing,allthisisemotion.”56 AndtheysaidthesamethingaboutElijah,becausewhenhewastakenupandElishatookhisplace,ayoungman,wentbaldheaded,young, the children run out behind him, and said, “Old baldhead,whydidn’tyougoupwithElijah?”See,theydidn’tevenbelieveItinthebeginning,thepeople,aftersomanythingshadbeendone.AndthisgreatmanofGodhadbeentranslatedintoHeavenbyachariotof fire, and the people still didn’t believe It. And had their little

children run behind this man and say, “Old baldhead, why didn’tyougoup?”See?And then theprophet cursed the children, andashebearkilledforty-twoofthem.57 Now notice. Today, as it was then, they put their owninterpretationtotheWord.Now,iftheywanttodothat,that’suptothem,buttheytrytomakeusbelieveit.TheBiblesaidthat,“ThisWord of God is of no private interpretation.” God does His Owninterpretating.GodconfirmsHisWord,andthat’stheinterpretationof It. As I many times said, He said in the beginning, “Let therebe light,” and there was light. That don’t need to be interpreted;it happened. He said, “A virgin would conceive,” she did. He saidHe’d“pouroutHisSpirit,”Hedid.AndHesaid,“inthelastdays,”the things that He would do, and He’s doing it! It don’t need anyinterpretation; God is doing His Own interpretating. No matterwhatfoolishmansay,thatdoesn’tstopGodabit.58 WhenJesuswasonearth,Hehadasmuchunbelief tocontendwiththatwehavetoday,andmaybemore.But itdidn’tstopHim;He went right on performing and carrying out His duty, and Godconfirming everything He done. He said, “I’m not by Myself. MyFather and I are one; He dwells in Me. It ain’t Me that doeth theworks, it’s the Father that dwelleth in Me. And if I do not Hisworks, then don’t believe Me; but if I do the works and yet youcan’tbelieveMe,believetheworks.”See?Inotherwords, they^“Search the Scriptures,” He said, “for that’s where you think yougot Eternal Life, is by knowing the Scriptures. And the Scriptures,Itself,testifiesofMe.”Amen!Whatastatement!“Theyarethey,theScriptures,thattellyouWhoIam,”Jesussaid.59 And it’s the Scriptures that tell you the hour that we’re living.And the things that you see done, it’s God Himself among Hispeople. Nothing can raise the dead but God. Nothing can do thethings thatHe’sdoingnowbutHim.For theBible said,“He’s thesameyesterday,today,andforever.”60 Now we see that modern trend of the people, then, “Oh, thedaysarepast,there’snosuchathingasmiracles.Thepeopleareallemotionallyworkedup.”61 ListentothatElijah,theprophet,cryoutagainstthemandtheirtheologians. Notice, notice, he spoke as if he was God Himself.ElijahspokeasifhewasGodHimself,“ThedewwillnotfallfromheavenuntilIcallforit.”Amen!Yes,sir.TheprophethadbeensolonginthePresenceofGod!62 TheprophetsoftheOldTestament,oranytime,whentheyliveinthePresenceofGoduntil theybecometheWord,theirMessage


is the Word Itself. And, remember, he said, “THUS SAITH THELORD.”Andwhen thosemenhad thosemessages fromGod,andtheybecomesowrappedupthattheirownthinking^Itmighthavebeenagainsttheirthinking,theymightnothavebeenableto_toseeit right. But they was speaking the Word of God, “THUS SAITHTHELORD.”63 “There will not be any rain till I call for it.” Oh, what astatement!HehadbeeninthePresenceofGodandbeenvindicatedsoperfect.And, remember, thatalso followsAmos3:7,“TheLordGod will do nothing until first He reveals it to His servants theprophets.”Said,“There’snotgoingtobeanyrainfall!”Hefirst^64 Theylaughedathim,theythoughthewascrazy,“Thatfanatic!”But, see, he had THUS SAITH THE LORD that it wasn’t goingto rain.And,God,beforehedid that,He revealed it toElijahHisservant. And he was a vindicated, proven prophet, so the peopleought to have repented. But, instead of that, they laughed at him,said,“Oh,wegotplentyof rain!Thereservoirsare full.The riversarerunninggood.”65 TheBiblesaidthat,“Therewasnotevendewforthreeyearsandsixmonths.”All thebrooksandwatersdriedup,everywhere.Thatwasn’tthatman,thatwasGodspeakingthroughthatman.Thatwasthe“I”itwas.Wealwaysknow.Sohe^66 Wefindout thatwhenamancomes, sent fromGod,ordainedofGod,withthetrueTHUSSAITHTHELORD,themessageandthemessengerareoneandthesame.BecauseheissenttorepresentTHUSSAITHTHELORD,WordbyWord,soheandhismessageisthesame.67 A denominational man under denominational auspices, he andthechurchisthe“one.”Atheologianundertheology,madebysomedenomination, he and his message are one; church of theology, atheologian.It’scorrectly.68 Then when a man comes with THUS SAITH THE LORD, heandtheMessageisone.AndwhenElijahcomewithTHUSSAITHTHE LORD, he and his message became one. Just as Jesus, whenHe come, He was the Word, Saint John 1. So the Word of Godand the messenger of the age was the selfsame thing, all the time.That’sright.69 Jesus was the Word that was prophesied of. He was what theprophetssaidwouldhappen,“Avirginshallconceiveandbear thisChild.” Way back in the beginning, God told them, said, “Thewoman’s Seed shall bruise the serpent’s head, and he’ll bruise her

heel.”Alltheseprophecieshadbeengiven.Davidcrying,alltherestof the prophets down through the ages, speaking of Him. He wasthatWordmanifested!Hallelujah!70 Now do you see where I’m trying to get to? I spoke with youprettyplain thismorning.Don’tyousee theauthorityof the livingGod in the livingChurch, theBride?Thesickarehealed, thedeadareraisedup,thecrippleswalk,theblindsee,theGospelgoesforthinItspower,fortheMessageandthemessengerarethesame.TheWordisintheChurch,intheperson.71 TheWordofGodwas inElijahwhenhewalkeduptherewithTHUSSAITHTHELORD,andsaid,“Itisn’tgoingtorain.”Thatwasn’tElijah;thatwasGodinElijah.72 Isaidamanytime,liketheChristianScienceladythattoldmeonetime.I’vetolditmanytimesaboutit.Shesaid,“Mr.Branham,youputtoomuchbraggingonJesus.” Isaid,“Ihopethat’stheonlythingI’vegottoanswerfor.” Andshesaid,“YoutrytomakeHimDivine.” Isaid,“HewasDivine.”73 Said,“Oh,Hewasaprophet,Hewasagoodman,butHewasn’tDivine.”74 AndIsaid,“Well,showmeoneScripturethatsaysHewasn’t.”75 Shesaid,“IntheBookofSaintJohn,itsaysthatHe‘wept’whenHewenttothegraveofLazarus.”76 “Well,”Isaid,“sure,Hewept.HewasbothhumanandDivine.Hewasaman,weeping;butHehadtobeGodtoraise thedead.”Right.Isaid,“Hewasaman,hungry;butHewasGodfeedingfivethousand,withacouplebiscuitsand five fishes.”That’s right.“Hewasaman,sleepingonthebackofaboat;but itwasGod inHimthatcouldstillthewaters.”Forwhy?HeandHisMessagewasone.77 Hesaid,“IandMyFatherareone.MyFatherdwellethinMe.”HewasthefulnessoftheGodheadbodily.78 Ithinkitwassostrikingtheotherday,whenIwasbringingThe Seven Church Ages. To start off with, I_I couldn’t make out Jesusstanding there with those^with that white over Him like that,said,“Hishairwaswhiteaswool.”Icouldn’tunderstandhowamanthirty-threeyearsoldwouldbesnowwhite.79 I calleda good theologian,Pentecostal theologian, a gooddearfriend.Well,itwasBrotherJackMoore.He’ssmart,intelligentman.Hesaid,“BrotherBranham,thatwasJesusglorified.That’swhatHelookedlikeafterHewasglorified.”No,Icouldn’tbelievethat.No.


I_I_Isaid,“Well,BrotherMoore,thankyou.”80 I got in the room there and got to speaking to God. I run myconcordance to take Him back to Daniel, where it said, “And hecame to the Ancient of Days Whose hair was white as wool.” Isaid, “Lord, I_I_I don’t know what to say, and I’ve got theresponsibility.” Now, that was before the se-^and remember,beforetheSevenSealswasopened,aboutayearormore,before.Iwasprayingthere,“Lord,whatwasit?”81 AndIlooked,standingbeforeme,andtherestoodamanandhewasajudge,andhehadawhitewigon.Theoldjudgesofancientdays used to wear a white wig to show that he was a supremeauthority.82 And then when I seen Jesus with the white wig, I said it onlyvindicatesthetruththatweknow,thatHeistheSupremeAuthority.God witnessed the same thing on Mount Transfiguration, said,“ThisisMybelovedSon,hearHim,theSupremeAuthority!”83 Thenbackout thereat thebeginningof theSevenSeals,whenthosesevenAngelscomedowninthatpyramidform,stoodthereandtoldmetoreturnbackhereandspeakonthoseSevenSeals,andHe’dbewithme,He’dshowmewhattheywere,thelostthings.IalwaysthoughtitwassealedonthebackoftheBookandit’dbesomethingwasn’twroteintheBook,butitturnedoutthatitwasmadeknownthat He cannot do that. It isn’t something that’s written in theBook^It’ssomethingthat’sbeenhidintheBook.“Forwhosoevershall take one Word from It or add one word to It^” So it is amysterythat’sbeenintheBookinthesesevenchurchages.Eachoneof them produced a_a mystery, all about water baptism and theseotherthingsthatthey’vefumbledaboutsolong.84 Thenwhenthatwentup,thebigobservatoriesfromwaydownin California, plumb down in Mexico, over Tucson, everywhere,taking the picture of It. It was a mysterious sight. Brother FredSothmann there, sitting right back there, and I and Brother GeneNorman, standing right there present when It went up. They tookthe picture, still they don’t know what about it. Here sometimeago,everybodysaying,“Lookyhere.This looks like this,and themAngels’wings,howthey’refoldedinthere.”85 Oneday,turningittotheright, looking,therewasJesusChristjustasperfectasHofmanneverdrawedHim.Itwasstandingtherewithawhitewigon,lookingbackdowntowardstheearth,showingthat He is Supreme Authority. The Heavens declare it, the Bibledeclaresit,theMessagedeclaresit,allthesame.SupremeAuthority,withthewhitewigon;youseeHisblackbeardunder.Manyofyou

haveseenthepicture.Wegotitbackthere.Justturnittotheright,sideways,lookatit.ThereHeis,justasperfectasitwas,ifithadbeenphotographedofHim.They’re lookingat it from thewrongangle.Yougottolookatitintherightangle.AndonlytheLordGodcanrevealwhichis therightangle.Turnit toyourrightandlookat it.ThereHeis,justasperfect,haditbeenphotographedupthere.86 The first time I ever seen Him, He looked like the Head of^Hofmann.Ihadneverseenthatbefore.AndinBillySunday’stabernacle, years later, I saw it. My house has never been withoutoneofthepicturessince.87 Then, here in the skies, saying that the very God that I sawup in this vision out here, just a little boy out here by where thisschoolhouse stands,He looked like that.Andhere in theHeavens,thirty-threeyearslater,declareit,thatit’sthetruth.That’sthewayHelooks;notsomemysticsomethingofsomebody’sidea.88 Like in theVatican, theygota_a_aChristdrawedover there,withalittlewhiteringofbeardoraringofbeardaroundHischin,aboutahalfinchlong,runsrightaroundthetopofHismouthandlike this,andcallthattheChrist.89 ThatjustputsmeinmindofaGreekartistIseenonetimeinanancient cathedral, showing what Adam and Eve looked like; theylooked like beasts or something. That’s what the carnal mind canperceiveofsomespiritualthing.IthinkAdamwasthemosthandsomemanthateverlived,andEvewasaperfectwomanineveryway.90 NowcarnalmindswrapsuptheThing in theirown ideas, thenGodsendsdownandunfoldstheThingbyHisPower.That’sexactlywhattookplacehereinthedaysofAhab.91 Now,wefindoutthatElijahcouldsaythatbecausetheMessageofthehourandtheWordofGod^Themessenger,theMessage_theMessage, and the Word, was exactly the same thing. The prophet,theWord, theMessage;messenger,Message,andMessage,was thesame.Jesussaid,“IfIdonottheworksthat’swrittenofMe,thendon’tbelieveMe.”That’sgood.Anymanandhismessageisone.92 That’swhytodaythattheydonotbelieveindoingtheworksofGod, because they do not accept the Message of God. They don’tbelievetheMessage.93 But those who believe God’s hour that we’re living in, thesethingsarehiddenFood.Justthink,GodhassohidItthattheylookright at It and don’t see It. The same way that Elijah blinded theSyrianarmy.ThesamewaythatGodblindstheunbelieverfromthetruegenuineFoodofthechild,thebeliever.


94 What they called Noah, “a fanatic,” building an ark, his eyeswere open to the Word of God and the promise. The very thingthat they called fanaticism, saved Noah and his family. See, thevery same thing. The thing that people laugh at, is the thing thatwe pray for. The thing that people calls “crazy,” we call “Great!”What the world calls “great,” God calls “foolish.” And whatthe world calls “foolish,” God calls “Great!” It’s just exactly thecontrast between the Right and wrong. Jesus Christ is the sameyesterday,today,andforever.95 Remember,hewentintohissecretplacebytheplanofGod,bythecallofGod,andtheWordofGod.ElijahenteredintohissecretplacebyGod’sforeknowledge(plan),andthecalluponhislife,andaccording to the Word. If that ain’t the way we entered, I don’tknowhowwegetthere.96 Andnotice,beforethedroughtbegin,Elijahwentintothisplaceofsecretforhisliving.Averytypeofbeforethejudgmentstartstostriketheearth,theChurchisalreadycalledout,theBrideisalreadychosen, and just waiting before the judgment strikes. Alreadywaiting,eatingtheFoodofGod,enjoyingtheblessingsofGod.Anyman in his normal mind knows that we’re headed straight, we’rerightinthehourofjudgment.97 Look!BrotherBanks,severalofyoumenthat’sheretonight,thatstandingoutthereonthatmountainthatmorning.98 And I want to speak about that mountain, next Sundaymorning, the Lord willing. Got a great revelation, somethingfurther that I can’t hardly keep from telling it tonight. But Ihave^See? And it just constantly, all the time, one thinghappening after the other. See? It’ll never stop happening, for itwasTHUSSAITHTHELORD.99 Everyoneofyouhere,thousandstimesthousandsoverthetape,heardmestandandsay,“THUSSAITHTHELORD,itwillbethusandthus.”Andeventhenewspapersandmagazineshavetodeclareit tobe the so.Theydon’tknowwhat it’s all about,but they seenit. They don’t know what it is, but they seen it, making the Wordexactlythetruth.100 Wewasstandingdownhereontheriver,thatAngeloftheLordcamedownthatday,thirty-threeyears,or1933itwas,comedownandspokethethingsthatHedid.Walkedout,andmanymenstanduponthebankthere,said,“Whatdidthatmean,Billy?”101 I said, “That wasn’t for me; that was for you. I believe; youdon’t.”Andjustwentwalkingon.

102 Thenthepastorsaidtome,hesaid,“Youmeanthatyou,withaseventh-gradeeducation, isgoingtogoallover theworldandprayformonarchsandpotentatesandkingsandthings?And,oh,”said,“forgetIt!”103 Icouldn’t forget It, Itwasengraveduponmyheart.Nowhere,thirty-three years later, everything He said has happened perfectlythewayHesaidHewoulddoit.He’sGodandcan’tfail.HealwayskeepsHisWord.He^Don’tneverdoubtIt.104 Now,notice,hewentinbytheplanofGod(foreknowledge),callofGod,andtheWordofGod,andwentinbeforethedroughtsetin.

Now,weknowthatjudgmentisreadytostrike.105 Standing on the hill that day, Brother Banks Woods standinghere, we was walking up the hill. Maybe I quote it again, so thatbuildyourfaithforthisprayerlinethat’sfixingtotakeplaceinthenextten,fifteenminutes.IwasjustwalkingaheadofBrotherBanks.Hewas^IthinkhehadleftSisterRubywhenshewassick.Andhecomingbehindme,Inoticedhisface,red.I lookedback.Ithoughtthehillmightbealittlehardforhimtopull,soIkindofslowedup.Rightinthemdeserts,rightuphillslikethat, rightwheretheAngelsof theLordappeared.Wewasheadingright inthatdirectionthen,whereTheyhadappearedafewmonthsbeforethat.106 And as I went up the hill, the Spirit of God^When I turnedaround, lookon topof themountain,He said, “Pickup that rock,andsaytohim,‘THUSSAITHTHELORD,you’llseetheGloryofGodinthenextfewhours.’”107 I just picked up the rock, and said, “Brother Banks, I don’tknowwhy,”throwedituptheair,andIsaid,“THUSSAITHTHELORD,you’regoingtoseetheGloryofGod.”

Hesaid,“ThatmeantRuby?”108 Isaid,“No,Idon’tthinkithadanythingtodowithyou,BanksorRuby,eitherone.I just thinkItwasjustsaying, ‘THUSSAITHTHELORD,something’sgoingtohappen.’”109 Andthenextmorningwhenwewerestandingthere,manyofthemen,Idon’tknowhowmanyissittingherenow,therewastwelveor fourteen, fifteen of us sitting there. All of a sudden, a ministerwalked up to me and he said, “Brother Branham,” he said, “mynameisSo-and-so.”Said,“IwasoneofyoursponsorsinCalifornia.”110 Isaid,“I’mgladtomeetyou,sir.”DouglasMcHughes.Hesaid,“I’m^”Isaid,“I’mgladtomeetyou.”Shookhandswithhim.


111 Hesaid,“Well,now,Iwanttoaskyouaquestion.”Said^RoyRoberson, trustee here; Brother Woods, Terry and Billy, and, oh,Brother McAnally, and I don’t know who all was standing there.And I^He said, “I want to ask you something.” He said, “DoestheLordevergiveyouvisionsoutlikethis?”112 I said, “Yes, brother, but I come out here to kind of get awayfromit,torestup.” And I looked around like this, and I seen a heavyset doctorlookingathim,said,“Rev.McHughes,thisallergyinyoureyewillsoonputyoureyeout.I’vedoctoredyoufortwoyears,andIcandonothingaboutit.” And I turned around to him. I said, “What you asked me thatfor, yourdoctor toldyou, theotherday, ‘Thatallergywas inyoureye.’” It was middle of the day, about eleven o’clock, and he waswearing sunglasses. I said, “The reason; you’re not wearing thatbecause it’s the sun, it’sbecauseofyoureye.He toldyouyouwas‘goingtolosethateye.’” Andhestartedcrying,said,“That’sright.”113 I turned towalkaroundagain,hada shovel inmyhand. (AndI looked; I seen him standing there looking at me, his eyes just asbright.)Isaid,“ButTHUSSAITHTHELORD,you’renotgoingtolosethateye.”Iwashuntingwithhimthislastfall,hecanseebetterthanmeandanybodyinthecrowd.Henever^114 AndI seenanelderly ladypulldownher stockingandraiseupthe side of her skirt. She said, “Son, if you see Brother Branham,tell him to pray for my feet.” And I looked down there, andlittle^lookliketumorshangingonherfeet,allaround.115 I said, “Your mother is a gray-headed lady. ‘My son,’ you see.Shetoldyoubeforeyouleft,ifyouseenme,tohavemetoprayforherfeet.She’sgot littletumors, like,hangingalloverherfeet.”Helikedtofainted. Said,“That’sthetruth.” Isaid,“Tellhernottoworry.It’llbeallright.”116 Istartedtowalkaround.ThenIheardtheVoiceofGodspeak,said,“Getoutoftheway,quickly.” RoyRobersonstandingthere,knowinghewasaveteranof thewar, Iputmyhandonhis shoulder, I said,“BrotherRoy,hide,asquickasyoucan!” Said,“What’sthematter?” Isaid,“Getoutoftheway!Hide!”

117 And just started walking around, put my shovel down, turnedaround, tookoffmyhat.AndhereHecome,GloryofGodfallinginawhirlwindthattorethesideofthemountainoutlikethat,andblastedandshooktheplacelikethat,cutthetopofthebushesout;justaboutthreeorfour,fivefeetabovemyhead.Wentbackuplikeafunnellikethat;Itblastedagain.And,hereItcome,threetimes.118 ThenwhenItleft,thethirdtime,BrotherBankscomeover,said,“That’swhatyouwastalkingabout?” Isaid,“Yes.” Said,“Whatwasit?”119 Isaid,“Godappearsinwhirlwinds.”Ididn’tknowwhetherHewantedmetotellthepeopleornot.120 ThenIwentonandprayedalittlebit.ThenHetoldmeIcouldtell them. I said, “It’s judgment striking the West Coast.” Look athertoday!Lookwhathappenedafewhoursafterthat:Alaskasunk.And now the whole thing is going under. We’re entering into thejudgment.Mercyhasbeenspurned.121 ButthanksbetoGod,wegothiddenFood,spiritualFood,thatwe’re living on the goodness and mercy of the revelation of JesusChrist in these last days, vindicating Himself among His people.Amen!Theywentin.Elijahwentinbeforethedroughtsetin.ThankGodforbeinginbeforethejudgmentsetsin.Nowisatimeofcomingoutandgoingin,gettingoutofthoseorganizationsandgettingintoChrist,acoming-outandgoing-intimeforalltruebelievers.122 Thenhewascalled,andstayedinthere.Remember,heneverleftthatbrookuntilGodcalledhim.123 Andafterthedroughtwasaboutover,Hecalledhimoutofthere,downtoawidow’shouse.Notice,Hecalledtothiswidow.Andthiswidowhadnotassociatedherselfwiththeunbelievers;tookthemarkof the beast during the drought. So He called her out to^calledElijahtosustainthiswidow.Theyjusthadonelittlecake,onelittlethingshewasholdingonto.AndElijahsaid,“Givethattome,first.For,THUSSAITHTHELORD,thatbarrelwillnotgoemptyneitherwillthecruserundry,untilthedaythattheLordGodsendsrainupontheearth.”PuttingGodfirst,HisWordfirst!124 Notice, therewasmeal inthebarrel.Everytimeshewentaftermeal, there was meal in the barrel. There was oil in the cruse,every time she went for it. Why? Meal represented Christ in themeal-offering.Theburrshadtobesetjustright,togrindeveryoneofthem.Everyburrofthismealexactlythesame,showingthatHeis the sameyesterday, today, and forever.Thatwas theWord, theBreadofLifefollowingthemessage,tovindicatetheWord.


125 Soisittoday,friends.Soisittoday,thattheBreadofLifethatthe children eat on, follows the Message of God, to sustain themduring the time of the drought. What if He stood in our presencetoday?What ifHe stood inourpresence rightnow?HewouldactanddojustexactlylikeHedonethedayswhenHewasinfleshhereon the earth. The Bride is part of the Husband, the Church is thesameasChrist. “Theworks that Ido shall youdoalso.”And it istheWordthatdoneit.HetoldusthatthethingsthatHedidthatwewoulddoalso.126 Wenoticehereagain,iftheWordisinusandhascometous,asItdidElijahinthatday,It’lldothesamethingthathedid,hewouldfeedonthesecretThingsofGodwhichishidfromtheworld.Oh!Again,itmakestheMessageandthemessengerasone.ThespiritualFoodisready,andIt’sintheseasonnow.AndeachoneofyoucanhavethisFoodifyouwishIt, ifyouarewillingtostealawayfromalloftheunbeliefofthishour,ifyouarereadytocomeintoChrist,comeintoHispromise.

AndrememberHispromises, inMalachi4,Luke17:30,also inSaint John 14:12, and how many more Scriptures, of telling, Joel2:38,andallthatHewoulddo,or2:28,rather,whatHewoulddointheselastdays.Andhowtheprophetsaidthatit’dbeLightintheselastdays,how Itwouldwork,what Itwoulddo, all theScripturespointingtothislastdays.AndthatisChrist!IfyoucanhideawayinThatnow,inthatsecretPlace,youcaneatandseethegoodnessandmercyofGod.Ifyou’resick,thereishealingthere.127 YourememberwhenElisha,lateron,hadcalleddown^Afterthat meal-offering that he had, Christ, and sustained the widow’shouse with It. Notice later on when he called fire down out ofthe heavens, and so forth, and proved his sending, of God, theprophet’sSpirit.128 Noticeinthewilderness,whenhewaslayingdownthereunderthe juniper tree,aAngel comedownwith that samekindofmeal,andbakedsomecakesandfedhim.AndalittlelateronHeputhimtosleepagain,andwokehimup,andhehadsomemoremealcakesbaked there for him. And he went in the strength of those cakesfor forty days. Glory to God! He’s the same yesterday, today, andforever.Oh,howweloveHim,spiritualFoodinItsseason!129 “It’snotmeet to take thechildren’sbreadandgive it todogs.”Didn’t Jesus say the same thing to the Syrophenician woman? HewassenttoHisOwn.Thatisright.Andthat’swhoHecome^HeneverwenttotheGentiles.

130 AndnowtodayHevisitstheGentilesintheirtime,andit’snotmeet^131 Yousay,“WhyisitthattheMessagedon’tgooutinthesegreatbigplaces,thesebigcrusades,likeamongstthedenominations?”132 It’s not their Food. It’s not the church, so calls, Food. It’s theBrideFood.It’sspiritualFoodinseason.Itwouldmakethemsickattheirstomach.It’stoorichforthem.See?See?You_you_youcan’tdoit.But,forthechildren,It’sBread,It’sLife,It’sJesusChristthesameyesterday,today,andforever.133 We’regoingtogettoolateifwedon’tstarttheprayerlinenow,soletusbowourheadsjustamoment.134 Dear God, Food in due season, spiritual Food. Somethingthat the world knows nothing of. How we hear our Lord say thatnight,orthatdaydownthereatSamaria,thesameplacethatElishawalked up and said, “Why, the dew will not fall till I call for it.”HerestoodJesustheretellingHisdisciples. Said,“Master,whydon’tYoueat?” Hesaid,“IhaveFoodthatyouknownotof.”135 Truly, Lord, His Food was to do the will of God, to see theworksofGodmademanifestinHishour.Hewastheretoseethatitwasdone.“IdonothingexceptMyFathershowsMefirst.WhattheFathershowsMe,thatIdo.”136 And, Father, so is it today. The Church, the true believer, theBody of believers, has access to Food, spiritual Food, that thenominals know nothing about. The world knows nothing of thisFood, Father. But Your Church, Your people, the Bride of YourSon,lovesIt.137 We have access to healing of our bodies when the doctors hasfailed.Wehaveaccesstothis.It’soneoftheFoodsofGod,thatHegavetoHisChurch,andpromiseditinthelastdaystoHisbelievingchildren.Father,helpus tobebelieving children, for all things arepossible to the believers. Grant it, Dear God. We ask it in Jesus’Name.Amen.138 I believe Billy told me that they give out some prayer cards. theplatform,orhaveacallingline,itdoesn’tmatter,justeitherway.I’mjustdependingsolelyontheHolyGhost.I’mdependingHimtodefendthisWordthatIhavepreached.139 Brother George Wright, I believe It. Since a little boy, comingdowntoyourhousemanyyearsago,listenatthatoldwhippoorwillsetinthetree,IstillbelievethatsameMessage.IbelieveIt’sthesame.140 All right, I see they’re clearing back here for a prayer line.
