The best way to guard against unwanted thought forms, negative energies, and psychic attacks is

to strengthen your aura. Envision it as an invisible protective shield of light around you, able to

deflect any negative energy that comes into your space. Remember also that you have spiritual

helpers in the form of angels and spirit guides that are always ready to assist you.

Here are some of the basic ways to build a strong aura that will help safeguard you from

negative energies:

Get enough restful sleep and pay attention to your dreams.

Exercise regularly, relax and eat good food. A weak body is a vulnerable body.

Have a good, loving attitude toward yourself and others, and defuse thoughts of anger,

rage and hatred.

- Just as you may take a shower each day to cleanse your physical body,

you can also cleanse your spiritual body while in the shower. As you stand under the water, close

your eyes and imagine the water turning into a waterfall of light. See the white light flowing

through your entire body. As it flows down the drain, it washes away psychic debris and stagnant

energy. Then feel the fresh, clean, powerful energy take its place.

- This is an exercise to do before entering a place where there may be

negative energy and you want to protect yourself from people’s thoughts and feelings. Imagine a

360 degree mirror surrounding you with the reflective side pointing away from you. This will

deflect any negative thoughts that come to you and return them to their source.

- Imagine a large bubble completely surrounding you. Fill the bubble with your

favorite colors, ones that represent and reflect your personality and make you feel loved. With

each color, mentally say, “ .”

- Start each day as a celebration of life and with a positive focus. Before you

get out of bed in the morning, take one moment to thank the great creative force for giving you

another day to experience the incredible wonders of life. I always say, “
