The African utility sector, the Power & Utilities portfolio is the largest and longest running portfolio at Spintelligent featuring flagship event, African Utility Week and Clean Power Africa.

Due to rapid economic growth, Africa’s governments and utilities face the challenge of addressing the rising demand for electricity and water supply. Spintelligent’s Mining & Extractive Industry portfolio has a track record of over ten years, offering turnkey events in Africa’s mining regions. Infrastructure Partnerships for African Development (iPAD) launched in 2005 to address issues and challenges of the massive infrastructure requirements for profitable and sustainable mining operations in Africa, namely in one of Africa’s most endowed countries for natural resources, the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Spintelligent’s flagship mining and extractive industry events focus on DRC and Zambia, both richly endowed with coveted metal and mineral wealth. While copper production faces a number of key obstacles namely political risk, infrastructure and logistics, the DRC and Zambia’s Copperbelt is seen as a promising source of near-term growth for global copper production.

The agriculture sector is regarded as one of the most critical industries for the African continent due to its economic potential, projected as a US$1 trillion industry in sub-Saharan Africa alone by 2030, and prospective contribution to long-term food security on a global scale.

Agribusiness East Africa is a conference with adjoined expo to showcase the latest product and solution innovations in the industry. Agritech Expo was launched in conjunction with the Zambian National Farmers Union in 2014 as a joint venture to establish a leading business-to-business and business-to-government agricultural trade expo in Zambia. Agritech Expo differs from Agribusiness Congress in that it is an outdoor expo which enables the event to host live crop trials, demonstrations of agricultural machinery and irrigation equipment, dedicated arenas for combine harvester and sprayer demonstrations, technical farming workshops and over 100 exhibitors from across the agricultural spectrum all at one event.
