Ground Cloves
Cloves, Syzygium aromaticum, are actually
dried, aromatic flower buds of a tree in thefamily Myrtaceae. Indigenous to the Maluku
Islands (historically known as the Spice
Islands) they are typically used as a spice.
Clove gets its name from the similarity of the
flower buds of this plant with a rusty clove.
Add a dash of ground cloves to baked beans, barbecue rubs and

Curry Powder
Curry is a blend that is filled with much history
and misunderstanding. While many folksassume that Curry is an Indian spice it is
actually a British concoction dating back to
their early involvement in the Indian spice
