thoughts on the ROI of ethical hacking certification

– Helped with pricing• He had quote from Infosec for $2800 with

a $200 ‘discount’• Took quote back to the rep and said we

were a buyer at 2k, and got buy in– Helped with purchase

• Did a warm connection back to rep based on deal

Outcome– Saved $600

CERTIFICATION COURSE

PROJECT: CABLINGHelp finding a local contractor who can help purchase and install fiber

Work (8 weeks)

– Help research vendor and installer for 80-100Meter fiber run between buildings• Subcontract as part of a larger project• Had no idea who is available to locally-

Northwest suburbs of Chicago– Research on companies who do this sort of

work in the Chicago area• for fiber connection installation and cost

of cables for about 350 feet and a 6 strand OM

• made a couple suggestions, one of which was AB  Links

Outcome– Got deal for connect installation & cost of

cables– Follow on project in works for

backup/archiving project that is coming up

PROJECT:Project for software will locks down tablets for kiosk use

Work (4 weeks)

– Helped scope requirements• Remove login/password/account info or

reset the session each time to protect customer data

• Remotely managed– Researched, contacted and found vendor

that could meet requirements,– Conducted WebEx to demo and qualify– Secured pricing

Outcome– Deal agreed to– Will deliver and deploy next month at the

new bank site due to open July 1
