Conclusions of RRC06
Transition from analogue to digital broadcasting will beJune 2006 – June 2015
Using complex software planning tools, the RRC hasgenerated a draft plan for the co-ordinated introduction ofdigital broadcasting for Radio and TV in Bands III, IV andV, covering 70,500 requirements
The Conference was a good starting point for the planningof mobile multimedia services using small inlandallotments. But for continental coverage, a Europeanharmonised frequency band has still to be found
The World Radiocomms Conference (WRC-07) will meet inAugust 2007 to recommend guidelines for the regulatoryaspects for usage of spectrum for new and existing digitalservices, this could include L-Band & S-Band
