Those that have participated as speakers were Tahmina Watson from Watson Immigration Firm located in Seattle WA, she has successfully represented Regional Centers and dozens of projects in the pacific coast. Also, Mr. Jeffrey W. Stewart, from Stuart Immigration Law in Miami, with more than 14 years of immigration law experience, Mr. Stuart spoke about what an EB-5 Regional Center needs to know about the individual investor visa process, and Mr. Doug Mayorga, has prepared economic analyses for Regional Center proposals and individual business projects to invest in South Florida.

Jovita Carranza, Carranza a Chicago native served as the Deputy Administrator for the United States Small Business Administration from December 2006 to January 2009. Appointed by President George W. Bush, Carranza was unanimously confirmed by the Senate, she spoke about “Prosperity for Leadership” . Mr. Charles Cervantes, three tours with the federal government include: US Department of Defense, where he served under the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Installations & Environment, assisting with congressional affairs and assisted the Under Secretary for Acquisition, Technology & Logistics as Special Assistant to the Director of the Office of Small Business. Tahmina Watson, Prior to founding Watson Immigration Law, Tahmina was a partner at White & Watson from July 2006

to December 2008 practicing exclusively in the area of U.S. Immigration and Naturalization law. Before that, Tahmina externed with His Honor Judge Ricardo Martinez at the District Court of Western Washington in downtown Seattle. She

also interned for multiple terms at the Northwest Women’s Law Center (now known as Legal Voice).
