SPECIAL INCENTIVE FOR MALAYSIAN FOUNDATION STUDENTS (INTAKE JANUARY 2014 ONLY) A special financial assistance scheme (Discount of RM 7000.00 for tuition & accommodation fees only) is being introduced for qualified Foundation students batch January 2014 who meet all requirements as stated below:-

1) OPEN for ONLY Malaysian students 2) It is ONLY applicable for students in the UTP FOUNDATION January 2014 Intake cohort. 3) It is OFFERED to Self Sponsored / PRIVATE students who have successfully applied and submitted the relevant PTPTN

agreement/documents to UTP via Sponsorship Unit SSSD Office. 4) Parents’ monthly combined income must not be more than RM5000.00. 5) Students must complete their studies in the FOUNDATION programme with minimum CGPA of 3.00 and above (Students

are advised to maintain a C/GPA of at least 3.00 throughout the FOUNDATION programme). Sample of calculation for the incentive are as stated below: Calculation A. If a student had paid the full amount of fees for January 2014 (The RM6120 is inclusive of RM2000 paid during registration), the student does not have to pay any additional tuition fee for the whole of Foundation Program and the balance from the assistance (RM3816) will be credited into their Undergraduate Program fees. If a student had paid only RM3500 for January 2014 fees, the student does not have to pay additional fees for the whole of Foundation Program as the financial assistance (RM7000) will be used to cover the balance of the January 2014 fees and the remaining balance will be credited into their Undergraduate Program fees (RM1196).
