SPECIAL EVENTS & ARCHIVES InternshipGrand Vision is an arts non-profit located in San Pedro's downtown Arts District. We present live and livestream music concerts at the 150-seat Grand Annex; offer music educa�on programs for youth and adults; and provide marke�ng, restora�on and advocacy support for the historic Warner Grand Theatre.
Through the LA County Arts Internship Program, we are seeking a community college student for a paid, 400 hour SPECIAL EVENTS & ARCHIVES intern posi�on, full or part-�me, finishing by Dec. 2020, with flexibility to work from home. Applicants must a�end school or have a permanent address in L.A. County. Students gradua�ng May-Sept 2020 are eligible.
THE PROJECTThe intern’s primary project will be to assist with all aspects of the Grand Vision’s 90th Anniversary live and virtual 2020-21 celebra�ons for the historic Warner Grand Theatre. Work will include detailed event planning of community and �cketed events and public history ac�vi�es. Secondary responsibili�es include further development of our digital archive and general office support.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Ÿ Has interests in history, the arts, community development, event planning, and/or public rela�ons.
Ÿ Has a high level of oral, interpersonal and wri�en communica�on skills
Ÿ Is fluent with Microso� Office programs and Google Drive
Ÿ Has experience with website content maintenance
Ÿ Is detail-oriented, self-mo�vated and able to work independently

County Department of Arts & Culture. 200 undergraduate interns will par�cipate in the program this year at over 100 performing, presen�ng, and literary nonprofit arts organiza�ons and municipal arts agencies throughout LA County.
