What do we hold?Ourholdingsspan1400linearmetresofmanuscript,printedandpictorialmaterial,whichhasbeenacquiredbydeposit,giftandpurchasesincethe1950s.AswellasEstate, FamilyandBusinessrecords,weholdmanorial records, monastic papers, personal papers, research papers, literary papersandtherecords of societies.
TheSpecialCollectionsandArchivescompriseavarietyofmaterial,suchasmedieval manuscripts, seals, correspondence, ledgers, maps, plans, watercolours, sketches, lantern plates, photographs, rare booksandmicrofilm.
