A few points to keep in mind when writing for us:

• Although we often have to write about some serious subjects,

try to keep the tone positive.

• Be concise. We have a lot to say, but try not to use a word

more than necessary.

• Be informative, but not overly technical. We’re all about

making information accesible.

• Be friendly, but not too informal.

We use fonts carefully - to bring clarity and consistency. We stick

to variants of two main fonts: Barlow Condensed, and Raleway.

We use photos quite a lot - we are all about people, and

tellings stories. Here are a few guidelines on using them:

• Be consistent. E.g. don’t switch between colour and

black and white photos.

• Remember to credit where applicable.

• Match the tone of the photos to that of the text. Try and keep

a positive undertone when navigating serious topics.
