I heard about Camber College from a friend, I experienced that the school
and city have very few Spanish speakers unlike Vancouver, so I improve
my English faster. People in the city are very friendly and they spend time
talking to you, even if you don't speak or understand English well. Also,
the best thing about studying at Camber College is that the teachers at
the school spend their time individually and think about the content of the
lesson according to the students needs.
PERSONALIZED ATTENTION,I IMPROVE MY ENGLISH FASTER
MEXICO FELIPE
When I spoke to a friend about studying abroad, he recommended Camber
College, he told me that the host family was very good and that he had
many unforgettable memories. There are few Asians on the Powell River
and many Asians in the big cities. There is no homestay like Powell River in
Vancouver.
I started studying English when I was 10 years old, but in Korea, I mainly
studied for exams like grammar and reading. At Camber College and
Powell River, was totally different, I improve my English level and the
interectian with laguage was huge.
ABLE TO SPEAK WELL ENGLISH,UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES
KOREA SOPHIA
After graduating from high school, I realized that I needed to proficient my
English to go to college. I really wanted to be able to speak English fluently as
a second language. Since I was born and raised in a big city in Colombia, I
wanted to experience living in a small city, so I chose Powell River wich is a
wonderful environment surrounded by beautiful nature. At Camber College, I
was able to get acquainted with students and cultures from other countries
and enjoyed very much Friday activity.
SURROUNDED BY BEAUTIFUL NATUREI really enjoyed IT
COLOMBIA JORGE
At Camber College there are many nationalities and I had almost no
opportunity to speak Japanese, so unlike in big cities, there was less
temptation and I was able to focus on my studies properly.
I majored in American literature and culture at university, so I had to
improve my English. I also wanted to be able to communicate in English
with people when traveling.
