Feasibility Study
A Feasibility Study has to be conducted on each platform to determine if use of modular rental crane is viable and if so, which model and installation type to use.
This will cover broadly:-
• Identify lifting capacity of existing deck cranes
• Determine module weights of new / replacement cranes / equipments
• Define key lift weights & description
• Identify installation space on platform
• Verify platform support strength including moment reactions
• Identify all lay down areas
• Identify any limiting factors
