On Thursday, October 17 we invite you to help us celebrate International Credit Union Day (ICU Day). This year FFCCU and 56,000 other credit unions are honoring the impact credit unions have on local communities across the world. We strive to bring fnancial empowerment to our community and give members a chance to take control of their fnancial future. To celebrate, we'll be hosting member appreciation day on October 17th. Ingredients: • 2 large plain bagels (cut in half) • 1/2 cup marinara sauce • 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken breast • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions: 1. Preheat broiler. 2. Place bagel halves, cut sides up, on a baking sheet. Broil 2 minutes or until lightly toasted. 3. Spread 2 tablespoons marinara on cut side of each bagel half. Top each half with 1/4 cup chicken and sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Broil bagel halves an additional 2 minutes or until cheese melts.

What You Need: • Milk • Water • Oil • Vinegar • Candy Pumpkins or Candy Corn • Glass Cups

Directions: 1. Fill 4 cups up with the same

amount of liquid in each glass. Place the candy pumpkins in a bowl near the glasses for easy access.

2. Write down your prediction about what will happen to the candy pumpkins once placed into the different liquids.

3. Drop one candy in to each glass.

4. Wait 10 –15 minutes before taking the pumpkins out of the glass.

5. Write down your observations and see if any of your predictions were right!

Try doing this experiment again and changing up the variables (time, shaking container, change liquid temperature, etc.). See if any drastic changes occur this time around!
