You and your toddler will enjoy a fun Spanish playgroup. This program is built around daily routines and activities to boost your child’s language skills. This class builds more than language skills. This class offers you and your child social, artistic, and physical interactions that encourage bonding, increase attention and the youngster develops motor skills and coordination while playing.

Our full immersion program follows our fun and effective methodology taught by our native-speaker teachers and well-trained counselors. Children 3 to 11 years-old enjoy summer activities (below) while discovering the Spanish language and culture. Our summer activities include playgroup lessons, games, water games, movement, sports, culture, kids, art & crafts, drama, and music.
You may sign up your child for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week. There is a 2-week minimum enrollment; however, the weeks do not need to be consecutive. Space is limited!!!! Register early to guarantee your child’s space this summer.

Culture is an important part of our camp. Children will have a
variety of cultural activities on daily basis. These activities will introduce them to the different Hispanic countries and cultures, help them to reinforce the language learned during the day, and give them practice with critical thinking and technical skills.
Children will be presented with short traditional stories or they will make their own stories that use vocabulary that they have being learning during the week. Children and camp staff will dramatize the stories.
Before Care (8am-9am): $15 per day
After Care (1pm-3pm): $30 per day

Children will enjoy outdoor activities daily. These activities are carefully crafted for all the children to be able to participate and
use the language they have been learning in previous activities. They will enjoy sports, water games, movement, and science in Spanish! We schedule activities for a specific age group and interest level.
Cooking is fun! Children will be learning math and science through these cultural activities. They will learn about different traditional
foods from different countries. * We are a peanut free camp, but if any other allergies are present at the time, we will have to modify this activity using plastic elements or cancel.
Children will learn Spanish traditional kid’s songs and also will be introduced to different rhythms of Spanish-speaking countries and…
dance them! We also have Zumba for kids every week.
Art and craft projects are always fun and a good souvenir to take home. These activities are conducted entirely in Spanish. While
very young children will be able to develop fine motor skills while cutting, pasting, coloring and painting; older children will also do traditional art projects from different Spanish speaking countries!

Spanish Workshop for Children offers mid-morning snack, we do not offer breakfast. All campers need to bring a packed lunch from home. There will be limited refrigeration for lunches, but there will be kept in air-conditioned rooms.
• We are PEANUT FREE camp. If your child has ANY food allergy, please make sure to note this at the time of registration. We recommend a packed lunch and snack if your child has any food allergies.

Camp Enrollment Policies
*Payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express as well as checks or money order made out to “Spanish Workshop for Children”. There will be a $30 fee for bounced checks. Installment payments are available at check out. *Sibling Discount: A 10% sibling discount will be given to 2 or more children. *Referral: You will receive a $ 25 class credit towards a future session or camp, for each new family who enrolls through your referral.

*Refunds and Withdrawal: You must request a withdrawal at least 3 weeks before the start date of the camp session that your child is enrolled. If your withdrawal request is received at least 3 weeks before the camp session start date you will receive credit toward a future session, or you will receive a refund minus $30 withdrawal fee. All withdrawal requests received less than 3 weeks, up to the first day of camp will receive credit toward a future session or can be refunded minus $50 withdrawal fee. If your child decided he or she does not want to continue after the first day of camp, you may withdraw and receive a full refund, minus $50 cancelation fee. If your child decided he or she does not want to continue after few days of camp, you may withdraw and receive a full refund, minus $50 cancelation fee and any camp days attended. No refunds are given for events that out of our control, as flood, fire, electrical outage, snow etc. Refund requests must be made in writing by a parent or guardian. Refunds may take up to 4 weeks. *Ages: Children must be within the age range specified, as of the first day of class. Young kids should be potty -trained. *Parent/Caregiver: One parent/caregiver per child must attend all Spanish for Toddler classes and should participate in the target language! *Protection of Methods and Curriculum: The methods and curriculum used at Spanish Workshop for Children are proprietary. Use of our proprietary methods and curriculum outside of our premises, or by individuals not authorized or licensed by Spanish Workshop for Children in writing, is strictly prohibited. *Release: You agree to assume responsibility for your child or children and yourself and/or caregiver when upon the premises operated by Spanish Workshop for Children, LLC, and will hold harmless Spanish Workshop for Children, LLC and any of its employees and/or agents in the event of any personal injury, property damage or loss, indemnifying said parties of any loss that you might incur as a result.
