Coursedescription:This is the third and the fourthof a6term language course and it aims atproviding training in spokenandwrittenSpanish,oralpracticethroughclass interactionandessentialgrammaticalstructures. Itgoesonestepdeeper intotheintroductionoftheSpanishspeakingcountriessocietyandculture.Prerequisite:SPAN1001orequivalentcompetence.
Learningoutcomes:Bytheendofthecourse,studentsshould:1. have reviewed the previously studied grammar points and expanded the Spanish morphology and syntax and
reviewedandfixedalreadylearntbasicgrammarpatterns.2. havemasteredtheSpanishsoundsandconfidentlypronouncethem3. haveacquiredacoreactivevocabularyofSpanishofover700words4. beableto interactivelycommunicate inawidenumberofsocialsituationswiththeappropriateawarenessofthe
