Day 1 BARCELONA

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Arrival. Transfer to thehotel.Welcome to Europe!!!. Transfer to hotel and free time. Youwill receive information about the start of the circuit during theafternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotelreception area.

Day 2 BARCELONA

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Barcelona city tour. “Spanish Village”visit and evening transfer to Las Ramblas district. Today we willget to know Barcelona, an impressive city right on theMedi­terranean Sea. Our visit includes an informative city tourwith a local expert (note: If the group has fewer than fifteenpeople, explanations can be given by our guide.) We also visitthe city’s historic central area with its Gothic neigh­bourhooddating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where theOlympic Games took place. It will be possible to see andphotograph La Sagrada Fa­milia basilica; the masterpiecedesigned by the architect Gaudí. Subsequently, we include theentry ticket to “Poble Espanyol” (meaning “Spanish Village”). Thisopen air architectural museum is situated in one of the mostemblematic areas of Barcelona. Be delighted by the best Spanishcraftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions andfolklore of the different communities in Spain. Free time toexplore the city on your own. In the evening we provide transferto Las Ramblas and Plaza Cata­lunya area, where you canselect from a great variety of restaurants (including Indian,Chinese, Halal, International and regional Spanish cuisine).Return to hotel.

Day 3 BARCELONA - PENISCOLA - VALENCIA

TODAYS HIGHLIGHTS: Visit Peniscola, a beautiful walled towncombined with a castle on the sea. Sighseeing of Valencia.Evening transfer. We travel south along the Mediterranean. Aspecial stop is made at PENISCOLA, a small walled town on theshores of the sea. After a short introduction given by our guide,you can make your way through the town, discovering the fishingport, the castle and the beach. Time for a walk. Afterwards wetravel to VALENCIA, time for lunch. In the afternoon, with a localguide we will include a visit to the third largest Spanish city thatmixes the modern with the historical. We will know its historiccenter, the fish market, the cathedral and also the avant-gardeCity of Arts and Sciences. The most important modern touristsite in the city. Evening transfer to the Plaza de Toros (bullringarea). In this area you will have time to dine in line with yourpreferences (Spanish, Indian, international, etc..) Return to hotel.

Day 4 VALENCIA - ALICANTE - CARAVACA DE LA CRUZ -GRANADA

TODAYS HIGHLIGHTS: Tourist train in Caravaca. We continuethrough the community of Valencia. ALICANTE. Time to stroll inthis active and very pleasant city by the sea. After lunch we go onour way to the Murcia region, where we will see CARAVACA DELA CRUZ, A town considered by the Catholic Church as one ofthe 5 holy cities, its church holds a relic of Christ’s Cross. Weinclude a ride up to the historic area on the tourist train. After thiswe will carry on along an attractive scenic road to ANDALUSIA.Arrival at the end of the day in GRANADA.

Day 5 GRANADA

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS : Visit to the Alhambra. Night transfer.A full day in GRANADA and tour (including entrance and localguide) of the immense Alhambra Palace and its beautifulGeneralife gardens built in Arab times. Time for lunch. Freeafternoon to see the Cathedral with the sepulchre of the CatholicKings. Later, enjoy an evening transfer to the Albaicín ofGranada, a World Heritage site along with the Alhambra, whereyou can enjoy dinner in a restaurant in the narrow windingstreets of this captivating Medieval Moorish quarter. Tonight youhave the option to attend a flamenco dance show and thetraditional neighborhood of Sac­ramonte.Note: in the Alhambracomplex, the Nazari palaces allow a limited number of people inat a time. Sometimes your visit may be in the afternoon,depending on the timetables in which we are allowed in. In thehighly improbable case of not being able to visit this area of theAlhambra, a visit to the Alcázares will be included in Seville(which have similar architecture and features).

Day 6 GRANADA - RABAT

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Step aboard a boat to Africa. Stop offin the pictur­esque town of Asilah, located on the ocean front.Dinner is included. Note: De­pending on the number ofpassengers in Morocco, this tour may be conducted in bilingual(Spanish/English) groups. Departure from Granada. We crossthe Costa del Sol. In Algeciras or Tarifa we board a modern ferryto cross the Straits of Gibraltar. The coach does not normallymake the crossing, so passengers must carry their lug­gage.Arrival in Morocco. Beautiful landscapes. ASILAH – thispicturesque small walled city on the shores of the Atlantic was anancient port that was a base for pirates. Today the settlement isfull of life. Time for lunch. Later we continue to Rabat. Arrival inRabat. Dinner buffet and accommodation.

Day 7 RABAT - CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH

TODAY’S HIGHLIHTS: Guided visit in Rabat (admission costsincluded). Dis­cover Casablanca. Kalesa (horse or donkeycarriage) ride and dinner are included. Scenic tour of Rabat,calling at the immense Royal Palace, the Mohamed VMausoleum and the mighty Kasbah of the Udayas. At midday,we depart for Casablanca, where we shall have a shortinformative tour of the city. The tour includes the outside of thegreat Hassan II mosque, which is one of the most important inthe Arab world. Then we continue towards Marrakech. Afterarriving at the hotel, you will be able to experience a traditionalKalesa ride up to the famous Jamaa el Fna square. Dinner buffetincluded. Hotel accommodation.

Day 8 MARRAKECH

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided tour of the city. Admissionprices and lunch are both included. Start your day with a guidedtour of the city that gave the country its name. We will know thegreat walls of the city, the Jemaa square with its activity, we willwalk through the colorful Medina, we will see the Kutubia tower,we will include entrance and visit to the Bahia Palace. Lunchincluded. Free time to relax at the pool or to discover a famousMar­rakech Souk (local market). In the evening, you canexperience a Fantasia dinner and cultural show (optional).

Day 9 MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADOU - OUARZAZATE -BOULMANE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Scenic landscapes. Visit a village builtfrom adobe. Dinner buffet included. We journey across the AtlasMountains, frequently snow-capped high peaks greet us as wesay goodbye to Marrakesh. Small Berber villages perch on theside of chasms. We interrupt the journey to stop at the fortifiedvillage of Ait Ben­haddou, a place where several films have beenfilmed. At this point of our trip, our route passes through the so-called biblical landscapes. Time in Ouarzazate city with itsimpressive Kasbah. We continue toward the valley of Roses.Boulmane Dades. Dinner and accommodation. NOTE: On veryrare occasions (during winter), the roads may be closed due tosnowdrifts. If necessary, days 5 to 7 will be resched­uledaccording to our alternative itinerary. (Whether we can visit theSahara or not will depend on road access)

Day 10 BOULMANE - TODRA - ERFOUD

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful scenery. Canyon in theeastern part of the High Atlas Mountains. Visit a village built fromadobe. Lunch buf­fet included. Feel the adrenaline on an off-road excursion on the de­sert sand dunes. A journey full ofexcitement in the Sahara Desert: the Valley of the Kas­bahs;river valleys containing thousands of palm trees; plains of stonesfol­lowed by oasis and adobe villages, powerful fortressesdefending the thoroughfares. We visit the stunningly magnificentTodgha Gorge. On the way, we shall call at a small town builtfrom adobe next to KHORBAT, visitors will be able to learnabout this desert community, which is supported by theEuropamundo Foundation. (Note: Sometimes access is notpossible due to weather condi­tions, which may involve floodingof the river). We continue toward Erfoud. Lunch included.Anyone who wishes, can go on a field trip to visit the sand dunesof the Sahara Desert (experience dusk among the dunes).

Day 11 ERFOUD - FEZ

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Breath-taking landscapes. Discover themedi­eval city of Fes. Dinner included. Early morning, our tripleaves the Sahara through the mountains and crosses no­madicareas situated in high and cold landscapes. In the afternoon, Fesawaits us. Leisure time. Dinner included and hotelaccommodation.

Day 12 FEZ - TANGIERS

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided city tour of Fes. Admissionprices included. Lunch and dinner included. Discover Fes with aninformative scenic tour. We conclude the visit by including lunchin an ancient palace in the Medina district. At the beginning ofthe afternoon, we depart towards the north of Morocco. Arrival inTangier in the middle of the afternoon. Dinner included andhotel accommodation.

Day 13 TANGIERS - SEVILLE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Travel via ferry from Africa to Europe.Spare time in Tangier. Chance for some last minute shopping?We return to Spain by ferry. The coach will not travel on board,and each passenger will be required to carry their own piece ofluggage. We arrive in Algeciras or Tarifa and continue toSEVILLE. Evening arrival and hotel.

Day 14 SEVILLE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided visit with local expert in Seville.Boat trip along the river Guadalquivir. Night transfer to thehistoric city centre. After breakfast, a local expert guides youthrough a scenic visit of Seville featuring the Cathedral and itsfamous Giralda, the banks of the Guadalquivir River, popu­larneighborhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana and the beautiful Plazade España. (note: If the group is fewer than fifteen travellers, itcan be arranged in both Spanish and English). After the tour, wewill include a boat trip along the river Guadalquivir, enjoying thepanoramic views from the boat. Enjoy leisure time straightafterwards. At the end of the afternoon, we will go to thehistoric city centre area (Calle Alfonso XII) where many differentrestaurants can be found. You can choose your favorite cuisine:Indian, Halal, Chinese, Spanish, International, and so on.

Day 15 SEVILLE - CORDOBA - MADRID

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit of Cordoba. Windmills inConsuegra. We leave Seville following the valley of theGuadalquivir to CÓRDOBA. With a local guide, we include a visitto its great Cathedral-Mosque and to the ancient synagogue(entrances included) and a stroll in the old district with its famouspatios of flowers. Free time to stroll through its flowered alleys.After lunch, we continue towards the Castilian lands and stop atCONSUEGRA, where 12 giant windmills next to the castle,contemplate the La Mancha plain. We visit Venta Rucio windmill.Continuation to MADRID and arrival at the end of the day. End ofour services. Check the time of your flight in case you need anadditional night.

Day 9 MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADOU - OUARZAZATE -BOULMANE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Scenic landscapes. Visit a village builtfrom adobe. Dinner buffet included. We journey across the AtlasMountains, frequently snow-capped high peaks greet us as wesay goodbye to Marrakesh. Small Berber villages perch on theside of chasms. We interrupt the journey to stop at the fortifiedvillage of Ait Ben­haddou, a place where several films have beenfilmed. At this point of our trip, our route passes through the so-called biblical landscapes. Time in Ouarzazate city with itsimpressive Kasbah. We continue toward the valley of Roses.Boulmane Dades. Dinner and accommodation. NOTE: On veryrare occasions (during winter), the roads may be closed due tosnowdrifts. If necessary, days 5 to 7 will be resched­uledaccording to our alternative itinerary. (Whether we can visit theSahara or not will depend on road access)

Day 10 BOULMANE - TODRA - ERFOUD

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful scenery. Canyon in theeastern part of the High Atlas Mountains. Visit a village built fromadobe. Lunch buf­fet included. Feel the adrenaline on an off-road excursion on the de­sert sand dunes. A journey full ofexcitement in the Sahara Desert: the Valley of the Kas­bahs;river valleys containing thousands of palm trees; plains of stonesfol­lowed by oasis and adobe villages, powerful fortressesdefending the thoroughfares. We visit the stunningly magnificentTodgha Gorge. On the way, we shall call at a small town builtfrom adobe next to KHORBAT, visitors will be able to learnabout this desert community, which is supported by theEuropamundo Foundation. (Note: Sometimes access is notpossible due to weather condi­tions, which may involve floodingof the river). We continue toward Erfoud. Lunch included.Anyone who wishes, can go on a field trip to visit the sand dunesof the Sahara Desert (experience dusk among the dunes).

Day 11 ERFOUD - FEZ

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Breath-taking landscapes. Discover themedi­eval city of Fes. Dinner included. Early morning, our tripleaves the Sahara through the mountains and crosses no­madicareas situated in high and cold landscapes. In the afternoon, Fesawaits us. Leisure time. Dinner included and hotelaccommodation.

Day 12 FEZ - TANGIERS

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided city tour of Fes. Admissionprices included. Lunch and dinner included. Discover Fes with aninformative scenic tour. We conclude the visit by including lunchin an ancient palace in the Medina district. At the beginning ofthe afternoon, we depart towards the north of Morocco. Arrival inTangier in the middle of the afternoon. Dinner included andhotel accommodation.

Day 13 TANGIERS - SEVILLE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Travel via ferry from Africa to Europe.Spare time in Tangier. Chance for some last minute shopping?We return to Spain by ferry. The coach will not travel on board,and each passenger will be required to carry their own piece ofluggage. We arrive in Algeciras or Tarifa and continue toSEVILLE. Evening arrival and hotel.

Day 14 SEVILLE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided visit with local expert in Seville.Boat trip along the river Guadalquivir. Night transfer to thehistoric city centre. After breakfast, a local expert guides youthrough a scenic visit of Seville featuring the Cathedral and itsfamous Giralda, the banks of the Guadalquivir River, popu­larneighborhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana and the beautiful Plazade España. (note: If the group is fewer than fifteen travellers, itcan be arranged in both Spanish and English). After the tour, wewill include a boat trip along the river Guadalquivir, enjoying thepanoramic views from the boat. Enjoy leisure time straightafterwards. At the end of the afternoon, we will go to thehistoric city centre area (Calle Alfonso XII) where many differentrestaurants can be found. You can choose your favorite cuisine:Indian, Halal, Chinese, Spanish, International, and so on.

Day 15 SEVILLE - LA RABIDA MONASTERY - MÉRTOLA - EVORA -LISBON

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Entrance in the Carabelas Museumwere Christopher Columbus started his voyage to America.Chapel of the bones in Evora. We leave Seville and in theprovince of Huelva, we travel to PALOS DE LA FRONTERA. Weinclude entrance to the Carabelas Museum; this is whereColumbus set sail on 3 August 1492 for America. We will see theRabida Monastery, declared a World Heritage site, a Franciscanmonastery strongly linked to the history of the discovery(entrance included). After this we will travel to Portugal.MERTOLA, a stop in this ancient Muslim city, its present churchwas a mosque, and time for lunch. After this, through whitevillages we come to EVORA city declared a World Heritage sitewith its wide streets, its Renaissance policies and its cathedral,we will include the entrance to the impressive Chapel of Bones,built with 5000 skeletons! LISBON, arrival at the end of the day.

Day 16 LISBON

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit Lisbon. Transfer to RestauradoresSquare.In the morning we have a sightseeing tour with a localguide (note: Ex­planations may be given by our guide if the grouphas fewer than twelve people). We visit tra­ditionalneighborhoods, which take in the Belem district, which is thebirthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed theoceans in the Fifteenth Century. We shall look round theMonument to the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and the beautifulJeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Theafternoon is free so that you can explore this great cityindependently. At the end of the afternoon, we includetransportation to Restauradores Square , full of atmosphere withits bars and cafes from where we suggest you to take the"Elevador da Gloria" that brings you to the Upper district and itsviewpoint.

Day 17 LISBON - FATIMA - MADRID

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Fatima Shrine. Lunch included. Wetravel to the north of Portugal and visit FATIMA, an importantsanctuary. We will continue on our way through the green landsof the centre, passing into Spain, and over grasslands we crossthe North of Extremadura. Lunch included en route in a regionalfood restaurant (vegetarian option included). Continuation toMADRID. Arrival at the end of the day. We include transportationto Plaza Mayor where we will have some wine at some typicaltaverns.

Day 18 MADRID

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid city tour. Stroll through theRetiro Park. Visit to the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas bullring.Night transfer The day starts about 08.30 hrs with acomprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseodel Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colónand Plaza Mayor. Visit to Retiro Park, an oasis in the citycentre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace.Admission to Las Ventas Bullring included. This is one of themost famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about thetradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the restof the afternoon. At sunset we provide a transfer to Plaza deOriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling areawith many restaurants serving different exquisite cuisines(Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, International) inwhich to enjoy a pleasant dinner. Return to hotel.

Day 19 MADRID

After breakfast, end of our services.

Barcelona: A mix of traditional and modernity,between the sea and the sky of Gaudí.

Barcelona: Church of the Holy Family.

Valencia: City of Arts and Science..Mediterranean.

Valencia: Cathedral.

Alicante: Set between the fortress and the bay.Caravaca de la Cruz: Perpetual jubilee in the holycity.
