Below this image, you will find a list of suggested paints to paint your marine with. These recommendations are based upon a

mathematical evaluation of colours, this formula produces a number which represents a "Distance" between colours.

This "Distance" as a number shows how close or far away two colours are from each other, obviously the smaller the number the

closer the colours are. More information can be found buy hovering the mouse over the "Distance" number

The colour recommendations below in the first column are Games Workshop paint colours and their "Distance" from the RGB colour

you chose in the painter for that area.

The colour recommendations below in the second column are from other brands of paint and their "Distance" from the RGB colour

you chose in the painter for that area.

Often you will find a closer colour (smaller "distance" number) in the second column, but most people using this tool have more

access to Games Workshop paints than other brands. If you are lucky and have access to the other paint with a closer number, I

recommend using it.

Lastly, although based on sound and accurate colour math theory, the human eye always sees colours "personally", which is why

multiple colours are offered rather than a single one. Please regard these colours as recommendations only, and if you have a better

colour/mix you prefer, then please use it.
