IntroductionSSTP: Space Systems Technical PanelPURPOSE: To sustain and oversee the programs of the IEEE/AIAA

Aerospace Conference, ESTEL and MetroAerospace Conference; and create new conferences or partnerships.

To promote and support publications in the domain of Space Systems (i.e. Satellite Communications, Space Exploration and ISS, Space-based Navigation and Synthetic Aperture Radars, Launch infrastructure, Range Safety and Debris mitigation Propagation and communication experiments) on Q/V band channel of TDP#5 (Technology Demonstration Payload);

To promote educational activities in the domain of Space Systems;

To manage the nomination and selection of candidates for IEEE Awards in the domain of Space Systems;

To encourage the submission of nominations for IEEE Fellows and Senior Members in the domain of Space Systems;

To provide periodic revision of IEEE Standards pertaining to the domain of Space Systems
