SELECT A PROMINENT TOURIST SITE
• In order to complete the Skills Programme for a Site Guide at a prominent cultural site /
attraction, we strongly recommend that you select a site / attraction as close as possible
to where you live.
• You will be required to do quite a bit of research, interviews and practical guiding on the
site and it will be cost and time effective if it is in your local area (municipality / metropole
within a 20-25km radius).
• You will also have the advantage that you know your local area which will greatly assist
in your research and answering questions.
In the event that there are no prominent attractions select another municipality / in your
province.
