mast, generator, pump trailer, draw-works trailer and main rig structures etc. These trailers and structures may weigh anything from 50 ton to 450 ton with sizes up to 15 metres wide and 50 metres long.

The prime movers may be used in conjunction with additional prime movers as ballast trucks to move the heavier rig equipments within undulating terrain.

The prime movers will also be used to pull various other equipments within the interior, i.e. float semi trailers, road tanks, lowboys etc.

B) With a coupled heavy oilfield winch trailer, these vehicles are utilised for transporting skid mounted loads up to 50 ton in weight. These skid loads will vary in size from 13 metres wide to 15 metres long. The trailers are also used for transporting skid mounted fluid tanks with a maximum capacity of 32,000 litres.

The trailers are also used for transporting tubulars in various sizes, palletised and un-palletised chemical loads, 20’ and 40’ ISO containers and general cargo

C) Conditions of this equipment usage vary within the Oman interior. The vehicle will be required to be able to withstand harsh weather conditions which will include extreme temperatures, up to and above 55deg, very dusty conditions and harsh graded roads with loose gravel and or hard bedrock.
