Please accept this invitation to be our guests on April 15th. We’re excited to host you and we welcome your

inspection of our Rrst, exclusively Partisover Angus & SimAngus offering.

I wanted to write a brief history of our operation just so you’ll understand why we do things the way we do at

Partisover.

My dad, Dr. Dan Daniel, moved his family from Oklahoma to Georgia many years ago to do two things.

First, as the head of the University of Georgia’s Animal Science Department, to build a performance program

in Georgia that was truly a prototype for much of the United States. And secondly, to build a junior program

in Georgia that would give Georgia youth the opportunity and skills needed to compete at any level. Dad’s

passion for both of the above was recognized by his peers when his portrait was hung in the Saddle and

Sirloin Gallery in Louisville, KY; the most prestigious gallery of livestock leaders in the world.

When you’re raised hearing and seeing the importance of accurate performance records you eventually real-

ize why EPD’s on both sides of an animal’s pedigree are so important. They are vital to our efforts in breeding

cattle at Partisover Ranch and we’re proud of the data we have compiled over the years. In addition to elite

EPD’s, you’ll Rnd that our background in judging and showing makes us appreciate good ones on the hoof

as well as under the hide.

Partisover Ranch was built on the best Angus cattle we could Rnd and build. Because of our early attention

to data, our Angus herd became really popular in the late 90’s and we sold the herd in its entirety retaining

half-interest in only the best 12 cows. Thru ET, we began rebuilding at a time when the Angus business was

turning yet another direction. We decided, after consultation with Dad, that we should go another direction

with our Angus cows rather than pursue extremes. We chose to incorporate Simmental cattle in our breed-

ing program and we’re especially pleased with the results.

Our young SimAngus program took a giant step forward when our friend, Troy Thomas, SD, told us about 3C

Macho. Along with another friend, Lorna Marshall, then of ABS, we added Macho to our lineup in partner-

ship with Christsenson Simmental. The Macho daughters are fabulous and they have been game-changers

for us. Later, after judging SC Mo Magic at Kansas City, we added this half-blood baldy and absolutely love

his progeny. Following that, we were very fortunate to have been included in the group that bought Up-

grade, the most incredible breeding bull we’ve ever been associated with. His progeny speak for themselves.

It takes a lot of luck, talented friends and partners, and a little cow savvy to acquire the genetics that we

have used to build this herd. We’ve got some great tools in place but are still working every day to make

them better, and we anxiously invite your inspection of our efforts.

Cows and friends, that’s what this business is about. As years go by I realize more and more that those

friends - loyal, never doubt - are really what makes this business great. Johnnie Johnson may be the truest

stockman I’ve ever known. We treasure his input as well as his friendship and all of the work he did to make

this event possible.
