Record Sheet Format The Heavy Gear Record Sheet series is a companion to the Heavy Gear Vehicle Compendium series, pro

cles in the Heavy Gear universe. While the Vehicle s for vehicles, the Record Sheets provide these st nd ready-to-play form for sheets covers the 104 Southern Gears and striders detailed in Southern Vehicles Compendium One:

Gears and Striders.

The record sheets over the next 104 pagesare formatted with the tactical garner rn nd. Not only do they provide all the relevant combat statistics (including full stats for weapons), but they also provide room to enter pilot statistics and to mark off damage and ammunition consumption. Basic spedications, such as Threat Value and Deployment Range, are also provided so that the Record Sheets can be used independently from the Vehicle Compendium.

Amor Damage Track Players can keep track of armor by marking off boxes when their vehicle suffers Light or Heavy Damage results. Damage Thresholds are provtded in the System Data box.

Record Sheet Urganization and Use The individual record sheets are organized in a similar manner as the vehicle listings in Southern Vehicles Compendiums One: Gears and Striders to help readers of the Compendium find them with ease. Only the stridersand the Chameteon family of Gears are placed differently. AH of the striders are now grouped at the very end of the book and the Chameleons are placed after the Jagers, on pages 54

The Vehicle Comparison Chart on page 110 and 111 ikts att the Gears and striders alphabetically by chassis, provlding page Threat Value and basic statistics. It can be used to locate a record sheet in the product.

The individual record sheets are intended to be photocopied- (for personal use only). They can also be cut from their binding along the guide-lines provided on each sheet. To do so, use a ruler with a cutting blade and stalt from the beginning of the book in order to leave room for cutting Those wanting to keep cut or copied sheets in a three-ring binder can punch holes in the margin-space provided
