Teaching the Joy of Giving Back

Children are inherently full of love and enjoy helping those around them, but if we also want our kids to become caring, compassionate and charitable adults, then we have to teach it to them. We have to teach them that caring about others is good and that it’s good to help those in need. Giving back is not only good for the world but also good for your child. Here are 3 ways to get started. 1. Start a “giving bank”-have the whole family put coins into the bank and when it gets full donate it to a charity of your child’s choice. 2. Start a Food/Clothes drive-collect items and donate to community shelter. 3. Have your child pick a holiday gift to donate to another child in need.

Enseñando la alegría de Caridad

Los niños están inherentemente llenos de amor y disfrutan ayudando a quienes los rodean, pero si también queremos que nuestros hijos se conviertan en adultos caritativos y compasivos, entonces tenemos que enseñárselos. Tenemos que enseñarles que preocuparse por los demás es bueno y que es bueno ayudar a los necesitados. Retribuir no solo es bueno para el mundo sino también para su hijo. Aquí hay 3 formas de comenzar. 1. Comience un "banco de donaciones": haga que toda la familia coloque monedas en el banco y, cuando esté completo, done a una organ-ización benéfica que elija su hijo. 2. Comience a recolectar alimentos y ropa, done al refugio comunitario. 3. Haga que su hijo elija un regalo de dia festivos para donar a otro niño que lo necesite.
