Emergency Response \ Law Enforcement• Geographically isolated area.

• Relies heavily upon volunteer fire district.

• Comparatively low law enforcement presence.

•  Any additional demands should be factored into a park design.

• Compromises Fish and Wildlife's NCEHP.

• Predicted 60- 80% increase in crop damage.

• Compromised elk habitat will result in herd displacement.

Potential for elk harassment due to increased visitors.• Local agriculture operations could not sustain an 80% increase in damages.

These are only a few of the impacts and concerns.

•Other cities and towns have had a voice in controlling their types of growth such as high rises and superstores. Why should we as acommunity expect anything less?

How could we in good faith commit millions without first addressingall concerns?

• We request that any approval be delayed and a working group beestablished to address concerns from all parties both public and private.
