Helaina StratosALEXISHelaina is a Charlottesville native with a passion for acting. She is new tothe art of working in front of a camera, as most of her theatrical roles havebeen in front of an audience. She is honored to be a part of a project thatcelebrates local creativity!

James SanfordALEXJames made his Live Arts debut as Pastor Greg in HAND TO GOD shortlyafter relocating from Michigan. He has since appeared in#CHARLOTTESVILLE, the 24/7 short play festival (as a rapping sexualharasser), and LOCALLY SOURCED 2019.

Arthur McCordGARTHArthur is excited to be involved in theater again after a much-too-longbreak from acting on the stage (or in this case, the screen)! He is especiallygrateful to have been involved in a project written by his father, playwrightSean McCord.

Sean Michael McCord PLAYWRIGHTSean is an award-winning playwright whose work has been produced in Virginia,Kentucky, Colorado, California, and Stuttgart, Germany. He is currently pursuing his MFAin playwriting from Hollins University, and helps produce new works through theCharlottesville Playwrights Collective at CVillePlays.org.

Eduardo Montes-BradleyDIRECTOR/FILMMAKEREduardo is an award-winning documentarian, filmmaker, lecturer, photographer, andjournalist. Much of his work can be found at HeritageFilmProject.com. This is Eduardo'sfirst time directing for Live Arts.

Ken HenryPLAYWRIGHTThis is Ken's second year on the LOCALLY SOURCED stage. He has been aPresbyterian pastor for over 30 years, but he finds moments of inspirationto write plays in his free time. Ken is married, has two adult daughters, andenjoys hiking on the Blue Ridge. He appreciates the feedback andencouragement he receives in the Live Arts Playwrights' Lab.

Ariel RobertsDIRECTORAriel is thrilled to be directing her third LOCALLY SOURCED production.Previous LOCALLY SOURCED credits include That Feathery Thing byPhyllis Koch-Sheras and What We Live With by Ken Henry. She alsodirected THE LOCKED GATES at Gorilla Theater Productions.

Michael McGeeMANPreviously at Live Arts, Michael did a reading of THE WALL byRobert Schenkkan, directed by David Domkoski, with a paneldiscussion led by Sin Barreras. He’s very grateful to haveparticipated in this all-Zoom production of SNEAKER WAVES.

Courtney Jett WalkerPLAYWRIGHTCourtney has been a stay-at-home mother for 11 years and one month. She is stillwaiting for her decade anniversary gold watch. She holds a BFA in theater performancefrom Longwood University. She has been a member of the Playwrights’ Lab for twoyears and a local actress and writer since childhood. She loves nothing more than beinga mom and creating theater with lovely people such as all of these.

Laura MawyerDIRECTORLaura has previously been involved with LOCALLY SOURCED on stage, and is excited forthe opportunity to be in the director's seat. She would like to thank Courtney andCadessa for trusting her and putting up with her ramblings and musings. Past areacontributions include costume design for DMR Adventures and various roles at FourCounty Players. She misses in-person theater and looks forward to seeing live theater inany way she can!

Cadessa DavisMOLLYCadessa is excited to be in LOCALLY SOURCED. She has had a great timeworking with the director and playwright! Brandon BolickZUBAN ZYXMONDISBrandon is a fourth year drama major and global studies in educationminor at the University of Virginia. He is honored to have worked withMalcolm before his passing. Brandon was truly inspired by his talent,kindness, and intelligence, and can only hope to work with more writerslike him. His thoughts go out to everyone affected by this tragedy.

David S. WittARGILLIUS CRANFORDDavid started film acting in 2009. Since then, he has accumulated over 30IMDB credits and appeared in several productions with Charlottesville'sLight House Studios. David will cherish his work with Malcolm Aslett. Uponlearning that David has done musicals, Malcolm said he was wanting towrite one and would keep David in mind. RIP Malcolm.

Malcolm AslettPLAYWRIGHTOriginally from England, Malcolm Aslett moved to Crozet 11 years ago with his wife andson. He loved working and playing outdoors and the nature around him. Besides writingplays and short stories, he had a passion for photography, creating art from his pictures,and playing guitar and writing songs. He also loved films. He passed away in September2020.

Sav MaiveDIRECTORSav is an emerging director, playwright, and dramaturg currently based in Charlottesville.She had never met an artist with such a contagious energy before this opportunity towork with Malcolm. His wisdom and kindness have been, and will continue to be, a greatinfluence on her. Her heart goes out to all who are suffering this tragic loss.

Linda C. ZubyALICE BRADLEYLinda is glad to be spending yet another summer with LOCALLYSOURCED. You may have seen her on stage in other local productions suchas VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE, MACBETH, THE DROWSYCHAPERONE, CABARET, WIT, BLITHE SPIRIT and ENDGAME to name a few.Education: Wright State University with a BFA in theater/acting.

Elizabeth Rose FullerPLAYWRIGHTElizabeth is a member of Dramatist Guild and the Live Arts Playwrights Lab. Her play,LIGHTLY SEASONED, debuted at Four County Players and SALUTE TO A LADY wasproduced in Los Angeles. Numerous works have appeared locally on stage. Kay BetheaDIRECTORA Louisiana native and long-time Charlottesville resident, Kay has studied, taught,directed, conducted, written, composed, and occasionally acted in seven states aroundthe periphery of the Southeastern quadrant. Her apprehension about Zoomtechnology has been assuaged by the joy of working with an immensely talented castand playwright.

Sharon MillnerFINLEYSharon has worked with Ti Ames and Marty Moore on many occasions,and she was grateful for this opportunity to work with them again! Shewants to thank Steph Finn for being a great scene partner.

Marty MoorePLAYWRIGHTMarty started writing plays eight years ago and has had several shorts plays producedin NYC and Charlottesville. As well as a writer, she is a director, actor, photographer andmom—the last of which being her favorite role in life.

Ti AmesDIRECTORTi is no stranger to Live Arts, but this is their first time directing for LOCALLYSOURCED! Ti is a theater and performance educator—they currently teach at both TheRenaissance School and The Front Porch. Ti is also directing the upcoming Live Artsproduction of LOST HOME, WIN HOME at Live Arts.

Annie WayTARAAnnie is a UVA Family Medicine doc and mom. She danced her waythrough early life and now finds herself still wanting to communicatethrough performance. She previously appeared at Live Arts in SWEETCHARITY. She is thankful for Kerry’s patience and supportive direction.Thanks to Nina for writing something so daring. Elizabeth CulbertsonCINEMATOGRAPHERElizabeth is a local freelance filmmaker and recent graduate from the University of Virginia.Over the summer, she teaches film at Light House Studio. Elizabeth has worked behind thecamera filming short narrative films, documentaries, and more recently documentingprotests and activism work.

Nina HaigneyPLAYWRIGHTNina grew up in Charlottesville and returned in 2016 to start a pollinator garden and paint. Her other scripts are posted on Newplayexchange.org.

Kerry MoranDIRECTORKerry loved working with this game cast, crew, and playwright to bring this work to life. Shethanks the team for flexibility and rising to the occasion; Annie, Ginger, and Mimi for fullyembodying their roles, Nina for being willing to collaborate, and and Elizabeth for rescuingus. Jonathan CoreySOUND/EDITINGJonathan is a veteran recording/mix engineer, a prize-winning pianist, and agenerally well-liked choir director.

Christina BallANNChristina thanks her amazing micro-cast and crew for encouraging her tocome out of hiding to tell this moving story, and for making thisexperience such a special one. She was last seen on stage at Live Arts inSEVEN HOMELESS MAMMOTHS. And hey, another silver lining: thanks toCOVID and Kelley Van Dilla, we got to make a movie!

Jenny MeadPLAYWRIGHTJenny has had short plays produced nationally and internationally, with severalwinning Audience Favorite Awards. A former Hollywood executive, journalist, andEnglish teacher, Jenny is a new mother to Charlie, a rescue mutt, who is not a pitbull (that we know of, anyway).

Joe MonaghanDIRECTORJoe was delighted to find, aphorism to the contrary, that an old dog can learn newtricks. Filming a physically distanced play in a pandemic for online presentation aspart of LOCALLY SOURCED was definitely a new experience. Thanks to theincredibly creative Must Love Pit Bulls team.
