sound of wind

1
Its extraordinary how we can not only store memories of conversations but data captured from all five senses in intangible registers stored right there in the corners of our minds. I was subjected to such a memory while sitting at a park and feeling the air around and I found myself transported to a state of tranquility. Although it was the sound of wind through rustling leaves which was predominant in the sample captured, the power of such simplicity is astounding when realized. If one would ever want to know how time stops, I guess it can be realized while sampling the most simplest of those numerous actions surrounding us at all times. This feeling was not stagnant rather it was still. The same feeling can be accomplished by listening to the waves hit the beach, walking on grass barefoot, feeling the sun's rays, listening to a river flow by, and the list goes on. These simple moments can act as constants in our ever changing lives and hold the power to bring us back from life-changing situations gone wrong from our perspective. After all we are sentient beings. Memories have to be refreshed from time to time as they fade away while the new incorporates our lives. I tired sampling of the sound of wind which I hope never to forget. As they say everyone should have their moments/Place of Zen/Happy Place.
