Sound insulation of windows

Basic principals during selection of sound insulating windows:

- The windows should be with different thickness when are combined – for exmp. 4 + 6 mm or 4 + 8 mm;-The usage of wider spacers increase the index of sound insulation;- In glued together windows the adding of PVB membrane increases the index of sound insulation;-The frame and the connection to the wall have significant meaning;-The sizes of the frames – in increasing sizes of the window without extra framing the index of sound insulation is decreasing;- If it’s possible to be added sound absorbing to the internal perimeter of the frame;
