Genesis 3: 9-20

9And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto

him, Where art thou?

10And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I

was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked?

Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded

thee that thou shouldest not eat?

12And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to

be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

13And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is thisthat thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpentbeguiled me, and I did eat.

14And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Becausethou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle,and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shaltthou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman,and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thyhead, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

16Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thyconception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thydesire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto thevoice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded

thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thysake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalteat the herb of the field;

19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return untothe ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, andunto dust shalt thou return.

20And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was themother of all living.

23For the husband is the head of the wife, even asChrist is the head of the church: and he is thesaviour of the body.

24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ,so let the wives be to their own husbands inevery thing.

What if the church, being feminine in genderrefuses to leave the realm of the natural or

soulish and continues to try within ourselves. The same desire will be unto us over Christ our

spiritual husband.

Tree of Life: To develop the life of God in Hiscreation,sonship (Dependence)

Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil : To develophimself or his soul.. (Independence)

Body : World ConsciousnessSoul : Adams soul was energized by his choices. SelfConsciousness

Spirit : Now dormant to direct because of choices.

God ConsciousnessThe Soul of man stands between both worlds, yet it

belongs to both. Linked to the spiritual world throughthe Spirit, and the material world through the body.

The need for redemption now established,or theneed to be born again.

Take special notice that Adam wasnt banished

from the garden because of sin, he was banishedbecause of the direction that he chose. Sin wasthe result of his choices, murder was soon tofollow.

Adams progress would have been his consciencecommending his intuition based on hiscommunion(God revealing His will) with God.

This chapter doesnt deal with sin in the senseof transgression of the law of God. It dealswith the strength of the mind, will and

emotions of man. It deals with the fact that the cross in our lives

deals with the transition of our soul fromdominance to the spirit having dominance.The origin of our actions, motives and isjudged by the Holy Spirit.

The familiar term of walking in the Spirit, is now

the life of God revealed by the Holy Ghost to the

believer.

This walk is contrary to the natural inclinations,

reactions, imaginations of the developed soul

power in a man. Look at the progression of man

and the strength of his mind, will and emotions.The soul of man is very powerful and can often

emulate the spirit.

12For the word of God is quick, and powerful,

and sharper than any two edged sword,

piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul

and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is

a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the

heart (Hebrews 4:12)

The soul will always reason with the spiritwhen in opposition.

We must understand that God is not trying to

delineate us as a person, make us robotical, but

to bring us to real life the way it was intended, as

his sons.

This is not about intellect but it is about

knowledge. We should know and propagate the..

1. Knowledge of conditions and reality of the factthat evil spirits operate and exist

2.Knowledge of the principles of the spiritual life.

21Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity ofnaughtiness, and receive with meekness the engraftedword, which is able to save your souls.

22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only,deceiving your own selves.

23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he islike unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, andstraightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, andcontinueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but adoer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Gods purposes in your life.

Remember it is not whether it is a good thing

or a bad thing, the flesh will always just be the

flesh. The origin determines the destiny. The

only true acid test for that which is birthedfrom the soul, is fruit. Is it remaining?
