CHOOSING SOPHOMORE STUDIOSThe School of Art and Design does not have Majors. The Sophomorecurriculum was developed out of the philosophy that it is important to fostercross-disciplinary study and breadth in the study of Art. During Sophomore yeara student must take either one sophomore studio class from each of the Studio Divisions or if there is a studio area you would like to concentrate inyou can take 4 Sophomore studios from 3 of the 4 Divisions. If you chose to concentrate make sure that you do not take 2 classes from the same Divisionin the same semester. There are 2 ways that you can approach the choosing of Sophomore studioClasses. ** remember that you are only registering for 2 studio classes in the Fall semester.
