Incheon Bridge Observatory (Ocean Scope) Ocean Scope has Songdo’s best view of Incheon Bridge. From

Ocean Scope, visitors can see the city’s mudflats, the

magnificent bridge and the Yellow Sea sunset all in one glance.

Three containers stand on degrees of 10°, 30°and 50°,

respectively, to face the Yellow Sea, Incheon Bridge and skies

to the west. In 2010, Ocean Scope received the Red Dot Design

Grand Award for Buildings and Structures. The image of

Incheon Bridge, the longest in Korea, is beautiful as it vividly

changes with 3-D LED lighting after sunset.

Lotte Mart & Hi MartLotte Mart Songdo is the first mega discount store in Songdo. With many convenient stores and facilities such as the experiential home appliance store, the world’s largest toy store, a one-stop shop for pets, food courts and fastfood restaurants, visitors can enjoy every shopping possibility at Lotte Mart Songdo. It takes only about five minutes on foot to visit the mart from Songdo ConvensiA, Oakwood Premier Incheon, Sheraton Incheon Hotel and Orakai Songdo Park Hotel.

Tri-bowl

Using a unique style of architecture, Tri-bowl has the shape of three bowls put together. The structure looks like a cone hat put upside down, and is the world’s first structure to be built in an inverted-shell structure in which the breadth widens from bottom to top. Tri-bowl stands for“sky(airport),”“ ocean (port)” and“land (metro transportation).”It also symbolizes Incheon Free Economic Zone comprised of the international business districts of Cheongna (leisure), Yeongjong (distribution) and Songdo (business). Tri-bowl is also a space for performances and

exhibitions that can be viewed after making reservations. In 2010, Tri-bowl received the Architecture Culture Grand Prize of the Year at the Korean Architecture Awards. The night view at the structure is especially beautiful, luring many visitors.

Songdo Central Park West Boathouse East Boathouse

Central Park is Korea’s first seawater park with an area of about 410,000㎡. With five theme gardens (sculpture

garden, formal garden, stroll garden, terrace garden and grass garden), the park is a rest area inside the city with

eco-friendly facilities. At the West Boathouse, water taxis provide shuttle service on a course taking about 20 minutes

along the artificial waterway. From the taxis, visitors can comfortably enjoy the charm of Central Park such as the

dolphin structure, Rabbit Island, deer farm and Manneken Pis. And at the East Boathouse are urban water leisure

programs such as canoeing, kayaking, boating and bicycling.

G-Tower, home to Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, is an international building that is a landmark of Songdo International Business District due to the move-in of international organizations such as the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and United Nations agencies. The“g”in G-Tower stands for“green, growth and global.”G-Tower is also an

NC Cube Canal Walk

Just like the name suggests, NC Cube Canal Walk is a Europe-an-style street mall where visitors can walk along the canal and enjoy shopping and relaxing. Built under the four themes of spring, summer, autumn and winter, the walk has a number of commercial facilities. The long central canal that runs between the buildings and artistic sculptures create an exotic atmosphere. NC Cube Canal Walk is thus a prime spot for shopping and relaxing inside Songdo.

Compact·Smart City is an exhibition center that features the

history of Incheon and the development process of Songdo International City at a glance. Having a basement floor and four above-ground stories, the center shows the past, present and future of Incheon through the Ancient & Modern Times Exhibition Hall, Incheon Miniature Hall, Experience Exhibition Hall, 5-D Theater and 4-D Theater.
