• Without forgiveness, eternal torment awaits us

• If we meet the conditions of obeying the gospel, the Lord has promised He will forgive our sins by the blood of Jesus

1Jn 1:7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

• When we face temptations, we do not have to be Satan’s victims

• The Lord has promised us a way of escape that we can choose instead of committing sin

• Often, we sacrifice serving God as He directs in order to gain these physical things

• The Lord has promised He will meet our daily needs if we seek to submit to His will above all
