Almost limitless flexibility
With the GLM-Imaxx series from Bizerba you are perfectly set up
for all your present and future labelling jobs. The sensitive infeed
and alignment rails ensure the precise transport of goods across
the conveyor belts. Depending on requirements you can choose
closed or split belts and add a special turn-and-align module as
an optional extra. Thanks to its modular construction the GLM-I
concept can be extended to include a wide range of components,
allowing individual configurations.

Central operating and control terminal
Even if all the possible modules are added to the system, just
one single operating terminal is needed to control all the
attached appliances. The innovative Bizerba GT-12 C operating
terminal with a robust stainless steel casing is equipped with a
high-quality touchscreen and provides access to attractive extras
via the GT-softControl interface. The complete screen can be
configured, from the background colour to the company logo.
Self-explanatory pictograms can be installed for soft keys such as
price, tare and date, and customised commands can be created
using the Quick Buttons. One very useful feature is the WYSIWIG
label preview, which displays the label used on
the operating terminal as soon as the PLU key
has been pressed . Shorter set-up times and far
fewer errors during the marking process pay for
themselves right away

Modular construction
for maximum flexibility
The decision for a fully-automatic labelling machine is
determined by many factors – and prompts a similar number
of questions: Can the machine deal with our labels? Does it
use standard printing methods? Is it easy to maintain?
Functionality developed to perfection ...
Anyone looking to apply additional data directly on the packaging
should use the optional inkjet module, which performs well on all
surfaces. And of course, as with all the other additional modules,
it can be centrally controlled via the article’s master data.
New: optimised printing from below
Bizerba has developed a new labeller especially for printing
labels from below, which also prints small or narrow packs
effortlessly. The label can even be as wide as the packaging
itself. On request your GLM-Imaxx can be retrofitted with this
feature at any time.
Your GLM-Imaxx labelling system has a short, clear
answer to all these questions: Yes.
Brilliant printing on every label
Whether from the top, bottom or side, in direct thermal or
thermal transfer printing – the labels can be applied by blow,
rotary, stamp and C-wrap labelling applications. The GLM-Imaxx
series can even manage the combination of different methods
in a flash and at a sensational printing speed of 250 mm/sec.
it achieves resolutions of 8 dot/mm (optional 12 dot/mm). The
labelling system can even cope smoothly with different label
sizes and types.
Additional module for special labels
The Bizerba LDI 160 label dispenser gives you a module for
applying special labels of any type – from decorative and sealed
labels through to full pack labelling. And not least, the GLM-Imaxx
series and the appropriate printer head can also apply the intel-
ligent TTI system labels from Bizerba, which guarantee seamless
tracing throughout the entire cold chain. This makes Bizerba the
first supplier to enable the automatic application of TTI labels in
a marking machine.

Thanks to our years of experience in industrial marking you

product management and control. The Bizerba industry software
.BRAIN creates the conditions for synchronised goods and data
flows from materials delivery through to dispatch.
n The communication tool _connect.BRAIN integrates Bizerba‘s
industrial scales, checkweighers, labelling systems, printer and
detection devices with the existing process and software
environment. With the option of programming each appliance
individually.
n With _bld.BRAIN it‘s child‘s play to design labels to your
customers‘ requests professionally on the screen, with the help
of variable fields – like text, logo and barcode.

device-specific standard labels, special labels and Euro labels,

Networked right from the start
Various interfaces are available for connections to ERP and MES
systems as well as for building complex networks – right through
to the Ethernet TCP/IP interface. This is a great advantage in the
event of any disruptions. Once the automatic error message has
been sent to Bizerba Service by email, advice and fault-finding can
simply take place via internet – without any costly on-site visits.

A highlight for heavy-duty applications ...
Despite its great strength, the fully-automatic labeller
reaches an impressive speed of 60 packs per minute.
This makes it the natural choice for intralogistics
applications in the meat, fish or dairy industries as well
as in the fruit and vegetable sector. At the same time
a number of Bizerba add-on components optimise line
operations: e.g. a feeder roller with alignment rails that
separates and aligns the packages.
More power, less hassle
If something is too big and heavy for the other markers in the
GLM-Imaxx series, the GLM-Imaxx 40 will make light work of it. In
continuous operations this fully-automatic labeller is the machine
of choice when it comes to handling the larger kinds of weights
and volumes.
The GLM-Imaxx 40 was specially designed for labelling crates,
boxes and other large-scale containers. Three belts are supplied
as standard, one for separating, one for weighing and one for
labelling. Other features include a movable display and control
unit and a labelling unit with direct thermal or thermal transfer
printing that can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically.
Depending on the type of application (side, front or top), this is
available in a blow, stamp or rotary version.
Technical superiority comes as standard
A standard component of the GLM-Imaxx 40 is the dynamic scales,
which enable flexible, weight-dependent price and product
labelling for maximum loads of up to 15 kg, 30 kg or 60 kg.

The high-quality drive and design concept behind the GLM-Imaxx
labeller makes it possible to carry out maintenance and cleaning
work in no time. Its modular printer feature an easy-change
printing head and comfortable refilling with paper and TTF tape.
In addition its maintenance-friendly motors, open frame, easy-
to-clean belt unit and quick belt-change system all make it as
