Composition

Undiluted NORMOCARB HF™ 25 contains 90.73 g/L sodium chloride (NaCl), 2.06 g/L magnesium

chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2•6H2O) and 28.35 g/L sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) in water for injection.

Undiluted NORMOCARB HF™ 35 contains 82.84 g/L sodium chloride (NaCl), 2.06 g/L magnesium

chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2•6H2O) and 39.70 g/L sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) in water for injection.

Diluted NORMOCARB HF™ 25 or NORMOCARB HF™ 35 solutions when prepared as directed, contain

PrismaSol Replacement SolutionWe've done the compounding so you don't have to.

PrismaSol replacement solutions, like PrismaSate® dialysate, is commerciallyproduced. This feature, when compared with manual compounding and othersolutions that require mixing, assists in the reduction of the complexity and the riskof error.

• Sterile bag enables fluid to remain stable for 24 hours after the protectiveover-wrap is removed and has a 12-month shelf life, ensuring cost-effectivenessand easy storage

• Pre-mixed 5-liter bag reduces bag changes and eliminates the need forcompounding

• Fast and easy bedside preparation, read-to-mix within the confines of a 2-compartment, 5-liter bag

• Provides both options of a spike port and luer lock port for connecting thereplacement fluid line

PrismaSolSterile Hemofiltration and Hemodiafiltration solution

PrismaSol solution is a clear, sterile solution free of bacterial endotoxins. This solution is used in Continuous RenalReplacement Therapies (CRRT) as a replacement solution in hemofiltration and hemodiafiltration.

It contains no bacteriostatic or antimicrobial agents.

PrismaSol is packaged in a two-compartment bag. The small compartment A contains electrolytes and the largecompartment B contains buffer. The final reconstituted solution (5000 mL) is obtained after breaking the red frangible pinbetween compartments A and B and mixing both solutions. The compositions of the solution before and after reconstitutionare described in the following tables.
