What is Osseointegration?• Osseointegration is "the formation of a direct interface
between an implant and bone, without intervening soft tissue“
• An Osseointegrated Implant contain pores into which osteoblasts and supporting tissue can migrate.

Note: 3S volume structures use an orthogonal grid for the unit cells where the orientation of all structural elements is controlled in order to set correct build parameters and to enable verification of properties by testing.
