Skincare

DIY Rose Water TonerA do-it-yourself rose water toner recipe that will deliver a youthful glow and smooth complexion!

Active Essential OilsPalmarosa Essential Oil: Extremely moisturizing and excellent for acne prone, oily and dry skin.Frankincense Essential Oil: A natural astringent that contains anti-aging properities, preserving a youth-ful complexion.

Recipe- One glass or PET bottle filled with rose water- 1/4 teaspoon of vegetable glycerin- 1 drop of essential oil for every 30ml of rose water

ApplicationShake well before use. Apply after cleansing and before moisturizing with a cotton pad. Optional: use a spray bottle and mist onto the skin.

TIP: Use this Toner to wet your beauty blender / sponge before makeup application. Use as makeup remover before cleansing.




Skincare

Rejuvenating Clear Skin Face MaskActive Essential OilsGeranium Essential Oil: Promotes radiant skin, aids acne, anti-inflammatory and balances hormones.Palmarosa Essential Oil: Extremely moisturizing and excellent for acne prone, oily and dry skin.Frankincense Essential Oil: A natural astringent that contains anti-aging properities, preserving a youth-ful complexion.Ylang Ylang Essential Oil*:Relieves inflammation, prevents anti-aging and reduces irritation

Recipe- 1 mixing jar- 1 T green clay- 1 t kaolin clay- 1 t activated charcoal- 1 t tea tree water- 1 t honey- 1 t vegetable glycerine- 1 drop of ecah essential oil

ApplicationMix well. Apply a thick layer to the face and allow to sitfor 20-30 minutes. Always keep a toner to mist the skin to ensure that is never dries on the skin.Never allow the mask to fully dry on your skin.

*May cause infections to rise to the surface and be resolvedby the immune system.




Skincare

DIY Acne Scarring ElixirA do-it-yourself acne scarring elixir

Active Essential OilsHelichrysum Essential Oil: Bruises, wound healing, acne rosaceae.Lavandin Essential Oil: Useful for scar healing and prevention with Helichrysum (acne, burns, trauma)

Recipe- One 15ml glass or PET bottle - 15ml of Jojoba Oil - 3 drops of each essential oil

ApplicationMix well before use. Apply twice a day to help minimize the appearance of scars. Results will be seen after four months of regular use.




Haircare

DIY Hair OilA do-it-yourself hair oil for healthy, shiny, and soft locks.

Active Essential OilsRosemary Essential Oil: Stimulates hair growth, slows graying and can be used to treat dandruff.Patchouli Essential Oil: Dry scalp, rejuvenating properties.

You’ll Need- One glass or PET spray bottle- Distilled water- Natural conditioner (like our Honey Bee conditioner!)

RecipeStep 1: Add 5-20 squirts of conditioner to your bottle (should be about 1/10th of the bottle)Step 2: Add water in 1/4 volume increments and shake repeatedlyStep 3: Add 3-6 drops of each essential oil and shake

ApplicationShake well before use. Spray ends and mid sections of hair before brushing, after showering, before heat or if you just want to small wonderful!




Haircare

DIY Hair Mask for Repairing DamageA do-it-yourself hair mask...

Active Essential OilsPatchouli Essential Oil: A deeply moisturizing essential oil for dry hair, damaged hair. Rosemary Essential Oil: Good for hair loss, healthy hair and dandruff.

Recipe- One mixing jar - 10mL fractionated coconut oil - 4 drops of Rosemary essential oil - 2 drops of Patchouli essential oil

ApplicationMix well. Apply to the roots of your hair and massage outwards to the tips of your hair. Braid hair if possible or tie up out of face. Sleep on mask for best results. Simply wash roots thoroughly and skip the conditioner!




Aromatherapy

DIY Reed Diffusor A do-it-yourself reed diffuser.....

Active Essential OilsUse a blend of essential oils of your choice. Our favourite? Cedarwood (Atlas) essential oil with Eucalyptus radiata essential oil.

Recipe- 1 glass jar - Bamboo skewers- 30 mL water- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil- 1 Tablespoon vodka- 50 drops of essential oils

ApplicationCombine ingredients in jar. Allow liquid mixture to absorb through bamboo skewers. Rotate skewers every few days. Shake daily. Change the liquids completely every 4 weeks.




Aromatherapy

Study BlendA do-it-yourself study blend for your diffusor to help you focus and aid mental fatigue..

Active Essential OilsPeppermint Essential Oil: A stimulant for mental fatigueBergamot Essential Oil: Uplifts mood and energizesRosemary Essential Oil: Clears the mind, boosts memory and alows for focus/retention of information

Recipe- 1 Diffusor- 1-2 drops of each essential oil

Evening BlendA do-it-yourself evening blend to relax, calm and soothe the mind.*

Active Essential OilsClary Sage Essential Oil: sedative, calming, emotional tension, anxiety, antidepressantMarjoram Essential Oil: sedative, calming, alleviates excessive impulsesFrankincense Essential Oil: Soothing on the mind

Recipe- 1 Diffusor- 1 drop of each essential oil*Never mix clary sage and the use of alcohol. Do not use this blend if you are pregnant or under the age of 7




Personal/Natural Care

Cold and Sinus Diffuser BlendActive Essential OilsCajeput Essential Oil: Effective in aiding relief of cold, flu, laryngitis and bronchitisNiaouli Essential Oil: Excellent for sinus congestionLavender Essential Oil: A calming essential oil that promotes a restful sleep and aids spasmodic coughs.

Recipe- 1 Diffusor- 1-2 drops of each essential oil before bed or while resting

Fresh Breath Active Essential OilsTea Tree Essential Oil: An extremely effective antibacterial on biofilms (plaque build up).

Recipe- 1 Tablespoon coconut oil- 3 drops essential oil

ApplicationMix well. Swish around mouth for 10-20 minutes and spit.Do not swallow.




Personal/Natural Care

Relaxing Essential Oil Bath SaltsA calming, soothing, and grounind blend of essential oils.

Active Essential OilsFrankincense Essential Oil: A natural astringent that contains anti-aging properities, preserving a youth-ful complexion.Cedarwood Essential Oil: Relieves tension, natural astringentLavender Essential Oil: Strong natural healing properities including restoring complexion, reduce acne, heals burns and improves skin conditions.Bergamot Essential Oil*: Relieves join and muscle pain, soothes skin irritations

Recipe- One mixing jar- 1/2 C Himalayan pink salt- 1/2 C Dead Sea salt- 5 drops of each essential oil

ApplicationMix well. Run bath with preferred water temperature and mix into bax.

* Do not use Bergamot Essential Oil 12 hours before exposure to sunlight.




Household/Cleaning

DIY Aromatherapy Laundry DetergentA great way to introduce natural antimicrobial and calming properties to your laundry!

Active Essential OilsUse a blend of essential oils of your choice.Our go-to: Lavender Essential Oil - smells great and alleviates stress/anxiety!

Recipe- Scent free natural laundry detergent- 10-30 drops of essential oil

ApplicationMix well. Add to your next round of laundry!




Household/Cleaning

DIY Natural Hand SoapA natural moisturizing and refreshing hand soap!

Active Essential OilsTangerine Essential Oil: Natural antiseptic, stimulates generation of new cellsGrapefruit Essential Oil: Great disinfectant, cleansing the body

RecipeStep #1: Add 1/3-1/2 container volume of Aloe Vera gelStep #2: Fill with Castile soap, leaving a small amount of room at the top of the containerStep #3: Add a drizzle of macadamia nut oil Step #4: Add 20 drops essential oil for every 100mL containerStep #5: Invert mix and enjoy!
