The User Groups Management menu is available from SoleaSupervisor’s homepage or the icons on the top of the screen. This screen allows to :

Ø Create, edit or delete user groups Ø Set hierarchy level of user groups Ø Set rights of each user group

Access to User groups management is only available to users within a group that has the User groups management right in Common rights – Supervisor.

1 Adding a new user group To add a new user group, click the Add icon of the toolbar.

2 Deleting a user group

Select the user group to be deleted and click the Delete icon of the toolbar.

3 Editing a user group

Select the user group to edit, and click the Update icon of the toolbar.

4 User group configuration All the settings related to the selected user group will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

The screen is splitted in three sections :

Ø General user group right on the left Ø Embedded rights in the middle Ø Supervisor rights on the right side




4.1 General user group configuration Those informations are required to create a new user group.

Ø Name This is the name of the user group as it will be displayed on SOLEA Supervisor.

Ø Description This is a descriptive field.

Ø Hierarchy level Each user group has an associated Hierarchy Level (HL) which determines what user groups and user information can be seen and modified. Only user groups and users that belong to a lesser hierarchy than the person logged in can be viewed. It is possible to define up to 10 hierarchy levels.

Note that creating a User group with a higher hierarchy isn’t possible.

Hierarchy Level one (HL1) is reserved for administrators and can’t be associated to another user group.

Ø Modules – Embedded

This will allow to define which modules can be used by user group. Now only the preparation module is available.




4.2 Embedded rights configuration This section will describe all the rights that will apply to Solea Embedded. It will define which actions user from a group could or couldn’t do. When a user within a group isn’t allowed to do something because of insufficient rights he’ll have to call a team leader that will enter (or scan) his login/password combination. Here is a screenshot of the message that will be prompted when an user hasn’t enough rights to do something.

Note that every override will be recorded and kept on the database. Please also note that when a team leader is entering his password for an operator his name will be saved along with the override flag and can be seen from the Supervisor screens. The validation is not permanent and if the operator needs to override later he will still have to ask.

4.2.1 Common rights These settings will apply to every module handled by SOLEA Embedded.

Ø Exit option When checked, users within the group will be able to close Solea Embedded without being prompted for an administrator password. If setting is unchecked, the user that want to close Solea Embedded will have to call a team leader to quit the application.




4.2.2 Preparation rights These settings will only apply to the Preparation module.

Ø Override tour options When checked, users within the group will be able to abort a tour. Note that the tour cannot be aborted once some preparation data has been sent to the server. Ø Override barcode options When checked, users within the group will be able to override scan control. This applies to any scan control that could be overriden (Product control, traceability, Anti traffic, Container control…). Ø Override scale options When checked, users within the group will be able to override any weight action :

o Set the weight to 0 o Do a tare o Weight control

Ø Override replenishment options When checked, users within the group will be able to set product on out of stock (all of partial). Ø Override data options When checked, users within the group will be able to use several features (configurable). Ø Override Container Process When checked, users within the group will be able to override the location control of deposit location (at the end of tour or container). Ø Pause Container When checked, users within the group will be able to set a container on pause when a tour contains several containers on the same corridor. Ø Off road mode When checked, users within the group will be able to place all the containers at once on the beginning of Fango tours. Otherwise, user will be prompted to put one empty box, scan its SSCC then control its weight before placing the other on(e).




4.3 Supervisor rights configuration This section will describe all the rights that will apply to SOLEA Supervisor. It will define which screens could be accessed by user within a user group. Unlike SOLEA Embedded, when a user isn’t allowed to consult a specific screen there is no process to let him do it temporarily. The only way to let a user access a specific functionality is to set him on a user group that could access the screen, or eventually create a new group, keeping in mind all the hierarchy level constraints.

4.3.1 Common rights These settings will apply to every module.

Ø Traceability Consult When checked, users within the group will be able to access Traceability screen to consult traceability data.

Ø Users Management When checked, users within the group will be able to access Users management screen to create, modify or delete users.

Ø UserGroups Management When checked, users within the group will be able to access the User groups management screen to create, modify or delete user groups.

Ø Trucks Management When checked, users within the group will be able to access Trucks management screen and create, modify or delete trucks.

Ø Container Types Management When checked, users within the group will be able to access Container Types management screen and create, modify or delete container Types.

Ø Tool Box When checked, users within the group will be able to access SOLEA Toolbox to delete tours or free trucks. Note that this right should only be given to experienced user.

Ø AntiTraffic Consult When checked, users within the group will be able to access AntiTraffic screen




to consult Antitraffic data.

4.3.2 Preparation rights These settings will only apply to the Preparation module.

Ø Preparation Activity When checked, users within the group will be able to access Preparation Activity screen to consult tours activity and tours details.

Ø Preparation Statistics When checked, users within the group will be able to access Preparation Statistics screen to have views of deliveries, real weights and overrides.
