The dome head is factory sealed - Meaning there isnever a need to open it !Once in place, there’s no requirement for high levelaccess. Meaning – No more ladders or expensive accessplatforms !!

Solaris incorporates an XTU (External Termination unit) -Providing a weather and tamper proof housing for thePSU and all video, data, alarm and power connectionsto the dome. How does this help you ? ……..

Address, protocol and test settings are all configuredvia a menu driven LCD display in the XTU. No switch /button combinations to have to look up, work out &remember.

Through the XTU you can also control Solaris and verifyvideo on the LCD panel.

The XTU comes with 10 metre cable as standard, plus itcan also be positioned up to 30 metres away from theDome Head and up to 500m from the Control Room.

Simplifies installation, checking and fault finding whichcan all be done at a convenient location, e.g at groundlevel - not up at the Dome Head.
