Objective :

Design and Development of a stand alone Node for soil sensing using multi-mode, multi parameters and multi communication technology for remote monitoring of multiple soil parameters in real-time and providing alert/advise to user for critical conditions and providing the necessary information about the soil to researchers on their mobile phones

Sub-Tasks:

• Design of stand alone solar powered Node for soil sensing using multi-mode, multi parameters and multi communication technology

• Development of heterogeneous wireless framework to monitor soil health parameters such as pH, Temp., Moist etc and energy efficient mechanism for data communication and transmission to consumer Decision Support and Advisory System (DSAS)
