• Dahlia Hanna Event Sdn. Bhd is one of the largest event management in East Malaysia.

• We focus on event management and services of a wide variety of IT-related products

• Current board of director of the company is Mr. Tony Stark.

• Successfully managed projects:

- 2006, successful setup 4 computer lab for graphic design with 40 Mac Book in each lab for Swinburne University, Sarawak.

- 2007, setup network infrastructure for Marriott Hotel including security camera, alarm system, door security system and internet setting.

CLIENT BACKGROUND

• Our client is Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus and they are an international branch campus of Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.

• The Sarawak Campus is based in Kuching which is the capital city of the Malaysian state of Sarawak.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

• To successfully set up 5 Graphic Design and engineering computer labs for Swinburne University Sarawak Campus.

• The project must be completed within 10 months.

• Provide power supply, networking, furniture, and computers for the labs.

• The cost of the project may not exceed RM1 000 000.00.

SOLUTION DIRECTION

• We have 3 possible solutions for that we can use for the project and these are:

- SOLUTION 1: Outsourcing items and services and hiring accountants to handle resources.

- SOLUTION 2: Buying items in bulk and hiring technicians to assemble the PC.

- SOLUTION 3: Buy assembled PCs and furniture and hire labour to arrange them lab by lab.

• Solution 1:

- To outsource specific tasks to specific companies with experience.

- We will have to interview the company first to make sure there is no knowledge, skill and technology gap to perform the tasks assigned to the company.
