Since 1989 he has worked on processes to identify potential and development centers, designing managerial training projects, recruiting systems, as well as planning and appraising staff within a series of Italian companies in different sectors (energy, telecommunications, banking, agro-alimentary, tourism). has worked on designing psychological tests for recruiting activities regarding the Rome Traffic department during the Jubilee year. In 2001 he was hired in Sfera – the Enel Group’s internal training company at the time – as a designer and course teacher for managerial training and organizational behaviour. In 2006 with the establishment of Enel University he became Head of the Managerial and Professional Learning Center, the area responsible for designing and delivering managerial and technical training projects for staff, as well as creating and implementing the institutional training system for all of the Enel group’s Italian and foreign companies. Since 2014 he has been Head of the Training & Recruiting Function for Country Italy, which in addition to Recruiting activities also designs and delivers both managerial and technical training for the line and staff functions. Throughout his professional career he has taught at the Chair of Psychology of Training and Professional Orientation at the Faculty of Psychology of “La Sapienza” University and in 2010 as Professor on Contract as Chair “Fundamentals of Industrial and Organisational Psychology”. Together with Tanucci G., and Cropano M.R., he has published Formazione e imprenditorialità (Training and Entrepreneurship), Edizioni Psicologia, Roma, and Report Tecnico del Progetto Polis, Italia Lavora, Roma. In collaboration with E. Pessa he also published Modelli Connessionistici della Percezione Visiva (Connectivity Models of Visual Perception), acts of the conference “Architetture Parallele e Reti Neuronali (Parallel architecture and neuronal networks), Vietri sul Mare (SA). Cristiano Ciappei Prof. Cristiano Ciappei, PhD, is Full Professor of Business Strategy, Management and Business Ethics at the University of Florence, Departement of Business Science. His research interests are related to: entrepreneurship and its anthropological and philosophical implications; marketing and creativity, technological transfer and start-ups. During the past recent years he was the coordinator of some entrepreneurial initiatives of the Tuscany region. He was previously visiting professor at the University of Linz and at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He participated in many international conferences and workshop on the entrepreneurial aspect of the management.

Ornella Chinotti Ornella Chinotti is Managing Director at CEB, leading SHL Talent Measurement in Italy. She has been working in the Human Capital Consulting field for over 25 years, with more than 10 years of senior talent management experience. She supports several organizations to develop integrated Talent Management programs in large blue-chip companies. She is associate professor at the Executive EMBA, Luiss University of Rome. She has published several articles on talent management space and is coauthor of the book” Development Factory” Franco Angeli editor. Barbara Cimatti

M.Sc. with honours in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Bologna (Unibo) and later specializing in the USA, Dr. Cimatti holds a Ph.D. in “Mechanics of materials and technological processes” of the University of Bologna. Since 2003 she has been coordinator and projects manager at the Institute of Advanced Studies Unibo, an international and interdisciplinary institution involved

in National and European projects for diffusion of knowledge and research. From 2009 to 2013 she also coordinated the activities of the Laboratory for Research on the City of the University of Bologna. Dr. Cimatti has been implementing postgraduate programs, mainly regarding industrial design and innovation technology in Argentina where she is actively involved at the Unibo campus in Buenos Aires. She organises technology transfers to Argentina and the Balkans as well as collaborating with Universities located in Japan, Taiwan, China and Vietnam, realizing joint didactical programs. Since 2006 she has been the coordinator of the Italian Design Summer School at the University of Bologna. She has managed applied joint research projects between the University of Bologna and significant Italian manufacturing enterprises. Dr. Cimatti is the author of a number of scientific papers and a reviewer at some International Journals. She serves as Assistant Editor at the International Journal of Organizational Innovation. She has been a visiting professor at several universities located in Germany, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Argentina. She is a Member of the Scientific

Committee of the “Global Conference of Sustainable Manufacturing”, established in 2003 by the Technische Universität in Berlin proposed every year at a different venue. She has been Session Chair and Key Note Speaker at some international conferences. Dr. Cimatti is focused on the interdisciplinary connection between hard sciences and humanities. She has given seminars at several Institutions including the Italian Institutes of Culture in Tokyo, Toronto, New York and Chicago. She is the curator of the book “I silenzi di Borges” (“The silences of Borges”), which will be published in 2016 by Edizioni Mimesis, Italy. Her activity of research includes: technology complexity of industrial products and processes and industrial approaches where craftsmanship is enhanced, analyzing cases of “Made in Italy” enterprises, including aspects connected to Innovation and Design. Maria Cinque Maria Cinque, PhD, is Associate Professor of Didactics and Special Pedagogy at the Department of Human Studies of LUMSA University in Rome. She works also as a coach and a researcher in the Department of Educational Research of Fondazione Rui. She teaches Learning and Communication Skills at the Campus Bio-Medico University in Rome and holds seminars on soft skills in different Italian Universities (Palermo, Pisa, Pordenone, Roma, Udine). Her main research interests focus on coaching and creativity (Agire creativo, 2010), on technologies for teaching and learning (E-teaching, 2011), on talent development and management (In merito al talento, 2013), on soft skills (Soft skills in action, 2012, 2014; Soft skills per il governo dell'agire, 2014). Maria Grazia D’Angelo

Political Science degree, ASTER Human Capital Department Manager. Multiannual experience in designing, planning, managing and supervising of projects related to vocational guidance and training & development of human capital, with particular reference to: EU Programs and Initiatives , European Social Fund calls for regional development, technical assistance projects for local institutions.

Among the most recent activities carried out:

- Coordination of several European projects in the Lifelong Learning Programme (Wapper/Docent / GIANT / GIRC Projects)

- Design of training programs for young researchers for the development of cross sector and soft skills

- Planning and development of an innovative action about job assistance for high-skilled workers in companies operating in crisis (Spinner project, 2013).

As Head of Career Counsellor, Stage & Placement at IULM University in Milan he invented and developed an integrated set of before non-existent services that let the University win important awards for best practices in Counselling 2011 and in Placement 2012.

In 2012, he was appointed President of the newly set up University2Work (www.u2w.it) network, gathering several Heads of University Placement Offices in Italy. Among other wide range of managerial experiences, he was Human Capital Manager at the DeAgostini DL SpA within Talent Attraction, Management & Human Capital Retention Department; he was Head of Personnel Selection, Organizational and Professional Development of the bank central structure at Unicredit (Rolo Banca 1473). In his early experiences he was Regional Support Manager at Manpower SpA and Local Committee President of AIESEC voluntary organization in Italy. Marco is currently Managing Director of AlmaLaurea srl, he innovates services and designs projects such as AlmaLaurea Career Day - Al Lavoro event, Recruiting Day by AlmaLaurea, Company Profile at Top Employer, ST.AR.T. Sydney Engelberg

  Dr. Sydney Engelberg grew up in South Africa and attended the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and SUNY/Buffalo. He is currently on the faculty of the Schwartz Program in Nonprofit Management and the Community Leadership and Management Program, both at the Hebrew University; Associate Professor at Gratz College, Philadelphia and Ono Academic Center in Jerusalem. He has been Master of a Residential University College in Sydney, Australia; Founding Director of the Program in Community Psychology at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia; taught at Clarke University, USA and Derby University, England. Dr. Engelberg has his own consulting company and current and past clients include the World Bank, UNICEF, IBM, Microsoft, Intel and the Neumo-Ehrenberg Group of Companies, amongst others. Dr. Engelberg has published widely and run training workshops in Latin America, Europe, Great Britain, Australia, Israel, Canada and the USA. Raffaele Ferragina He is the Founder and Managing Director of Profexa Consulting, a national recognized company in the field of Human Resources and organization development. He has 20+ years of HR experience providing organization development solutions in the areas of HR management, potential development analysis, recruiting and staffing, executive coaching, training and change management. Prior to founding Profexa, Raffaele’s work history includes positions such as Area Manager for consulting firms and Researcher and assistant professional in Work and Organisational Psychology at the faculty of Political Science of Bologna University. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Bologna University, is certified as a Senior Potential Development Analyzer (KHC Know How certification) and maintains a membership in the “Università delle Persone”, founded by Enzo Spaltro. Filippo Ferrari Filippo Ferrari is a Lecturer at Bologna University, School of Economics, Management and Statistics, where he teaches Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management. He has a Bachelor degree in Work, Organizational and Social Psychology and two Masters degrees in Education Science and in Social and Economic History. He has been implemening a constant research activity mainly focused on Innovative Materials at both levels of scientific investigations and industrial innovation. Author of more than one hundred contributions as scientific papers and industrial memories. He participated to more than 60 congresses and workshops all over the World, including 12 invited lectures. He has been very active in Transfer of Technology actions toward enterprises, also holding several training courses in specific industrial sectors. Adding, he has been assuring a continuous action in fund raising and in project management within national and EU funded research/collaborative projects. He took relevant parts (as coordinator, supervisor, main investigator, etc.) in more than 25 projects. Specifically, referring to the topic of employability, he was the coordinator of “ATC Serbija”, an EU Regional Development project, where a didactical laboratory for life-long learning was established in the centre of Western Balkan in the business area of automotive. Its aim was to support on-the-job training and fast employment of more than 100 secondary students and unemployed technicians. Currently, he is coordinator of “AdriaHub”, a EU IPA project aiming at creating better conditions for employability of graduate students through the whole Adriatic area. At the moment, around 30 young researchers are involved in this pilot action. Finally, since 2009 he is external evaluator for EU Commission (including the EU Institute of Technology) and for the Italian Minister of Economic Development. These experiences, together with the participation in several Committees, have permitted him to established a wide network of personal relations. Maria Lucia Giovannini Maria Lucia Giovannini is Full professor of Experimental Pedagogy at the Science of Education Department of Bologna University. She has held many institutional offices amongst which: department/committee member, head of the Interdepartmental Centre of Education Research, member of the Advisory Committee for specialisation schools for the initial training of teachers, director of Master programme in Science of Lifelong Educational Processes.

She teaches Measurement and Evaluation, Assessment of learning and Certification of competences, Design and Evaluation of training actions, Theory and Methods of Educational Research. Her main research fields are assessment problems and certification; problems related to selection and student drop-out within continuous education; the role of teachers and teacher training; the use of ICT within teaching and learning processes. Specific attention has been given to the methodological aspects of educational research through the in-depth analysis of quantitative and qualitative procedures as well as mixed-methods. Prof. Giovannini is member of national and international educational research societies and has been a prominent member of the international IAEP-II (The International Assessment of educational Progress) surveys Italian committee. Cesare Genesio Alessandro Grisi

Cesare Grisi is an HR professional who specializes in development of the Human Resources. He has been an HR Manager responsible for Organizing, Training, Change Management, Career Development, and other key aspects of his profession. He has devoted an important part of his activities to the management of Career Transition and Skill Development centers, where work on the evaluation and enhancement of personal and professional background played a key role. He designed, developed, conducted, and supervised training plans (for groups, personalized, and one to one), and also managed teams of trainers. He is an HR Management Consultant and Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna, where he explores these themes from a managerial and academic point of view, and how they fit in the professional workforce.

His education and training path has a strongly transversal approach: after studying and working in the tourism sector, he got a degree in Literature and obtained his Ph.D. with a scholarship. He then began a career in Human Resources, with a specific Master and professional courses. He has established his profession as the result of a close synergy between theory and practice.

He has developed a multidisciplinary and interactive approach that creates a point of contact between the organization, the employees and their work context, focusing on the theoretical and scientific basis of the specific approach, matching them to the most appropriate methodologies.

Dina Guglielmi 1. Licence and Ph.D. Ph.D. in Psychology at University of Bologna. Dissertation title: “Becoming a professional: facilitating factors and obstacles for the development of professional competences”, 2002. Degree in Psychology at the University of Bologna, 1996. 2. Position at University Currently full professor in Work and Organizational Psychology at the Department of Educational Studies “Giovanni Maria Bertin” (University of Bologna) and Director of 2nd cycle degree in “Planning and managing of educational intervention in social distress” (School of Psychology and Education). From 2005 to 2014, researcher in Work and Organizational Psychology, at the Faculty of Psychology (University of Bologna). 3. Teaching experience in Work and Organizational Psychology Has been teaching, at the Faculty of Psychology and of Educational Sciences of the University of Bologna, courses of 1st and 2nd degree level. Currently teaching Work Psychology (8 CFU) and Psychology of guidance and adult transitions (8 CFU) in 2nd cycle degree and in the Erasmus Mundus Master “WOP-P”. 4. Professional Activity From 1997 has worked as a consultant for Ce.Trans - Centro per le Transizioni al Lavoro e nel Lavoro – that today is a branch of the Department of Psychology (University of Bologna) on the following activities: development of assessment instruments for school and career counselling; planning of training courses and services for counselling; planning and conducting psychosocial research on topics related to vocational training, school drop-out, employability, coping strategies and professional competencies. Has participated and served as scientific director of national (eg. Services aimed at creating a regional system for monitoring and evaluation of interventions and guidance services, FVG Region) and international (eg. Leonardo da Vinci project "GIANT - Guidance: Innovative Actions and New Tools") projects. 5. Publications Has published, as main author and in collaboration, a number of scientific papers (books and book chapters, articles in national and international scientific journals), and also presented many communications in scientific international congresses.
