SEATINGThe chairs and sofas produced by TECHO are very different from one another. Aesthetics, durability and versatility of use describe our seating collection where quality and functionality were the starting pointfor our product designs. This has beencaptured graphically in posters,album covers, t-shirts, and createda visual brand. I wanted to applythemes of this to a 3 dimensionalobject, the way in which the fringemeets the face, in a well-balancedordered manner. It gave me theinspiration to design the shapes thatlink the products together.

Ress Lines and angles - design ideas of 60s created with

modern materials. Ress is designed as the perfect loungeseating. Geometry and comfy seating were combined togood effect in the design process. The inner metalconstruction protrudes out of the bottom of the product asthe feet that support it. This metal structure gives theproduct strength, as well as a light appearance. Traces ofthe past are highlighted with the help of the aestheticcontour lines of the upholstery.
