As a page administrator you will be able
to see a number of admin functions that
normal fans of the page will not see
(figure 4).
f Get Started: This is the initial start
screen. It will disappear once you have
been using your page for a while.
f edit Page: This allows you to edit
your page settings (see editing Your
Fan Page, further in this document).
f Use Facebook as [Page Name]:
This allows you to comment on other
people’s profiles and fan pages as
the page itself (not your personal
Facebook account).
f Promote with an Ad: This link allows
you to set up Facebook ad campaigns.
f View Insights: View page statistics.
f Quick Tips: These are Facebook Tips
visible only to page admins.
f Add to / Remove from my Page’s
Favorites: As an administrator,
whenever you visit a fan page, you will
be able to add it to your page’s list of
favourites (or remove if you need to).

Facebook Insights is the built-in reporting functionality for your fan page. It shows you
important analytical information like monthly active users, daily new “likes”, daily post
views and daily post feedback.
You can access your Insights by clicking on the Insights button on the right of your page.
You will be taken to a detailed report (figure 7).
This page is divided into “Users” and “Interactions” – and each section has detailed
information, visible by clicking the See Details link.
