    Minimum Qualification Requirement:Social Worker Tier II: Must have two years (2,000 hours), full-time post-masterssupervised clinical experience; and must be able to obtain privileges at Tier II asestablished by Marine Corps Headquarters and consistent with SECNAVINST 1754.7A andMCO P1700.24B. Must have a Masters degree in Social Work from a universityaccredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Must have a valid statelicense to practice social work and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements of aLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). College transcripts and state license mustbe submitted in order to be considered for the position.

    Social Worker Tier III: Must have two years post licensure experience that includes atleast 2,000 hours post licensure or 4,000 hours post graduate degree, full-time clinicalexperience in a clinical setting field; must meet licensing requirements and obtain

    privileges at Tier III as established by Marine Corps Headquarters and consistent withSECNAVINST 1754.7A and MCO P1700.24B. Must have a Masters degree in Social Workfrom a university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Must havea valid state license to practice social work and comply with all legal and regulatoryrequirements of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).     Special Notes: This position may be extended at management discretion withoutfurther consideration. The individual selected for this temporary position may be madepermanent without further competition. Employment, to include placement ineither Tier II or Tier III, is contingent upon the favorable certification of

    candidate by Marine Corps Headquarters in accordance with the above citedregulations. Successful applicants hired at the Tier II level, upon meetingcertification requirements for Tier III, will be placed at the Tier III level. Conducts workshops and commandtraining programs to aid in the prevention of domestic violence and promotion of goodmental health.
