Suggested Activities/Strategies:

1. Have students construct timelines with key events from Colorado's history. Use this site as a reference for key early events.

As the information is presented, have students label a blank Colorado map with the name of the group written on the area in which they settled. On the back, have students write five facts they discovered about the early cultural groups that lived in Colorado.

Suggested Activities/Strategies:

1. Complete this lesson about public and private goods and services. Use the attached activity sheets and song.
