1. IMPRESSION MANAGEMENT- impression management is a goal-directed conscious or unconscious process in which people attempt to influence the perceptions of others about a person, object or event.

In the first scene, Joshua took the courage to ask Dinna out and was easily rejected due to his unconfident attitude. But for the second try he succeed leaving a good impression with his six packs.

2. ATTRACTION- Interpersonal attraction refers to positive feelings about another person. It can take many forms, including liking, love, friendship, lust, and admiration. In this scene, Ka Shing ask Dinna out although he has no money but he promised to make her happy. Instead of accepting his love, Dinna rejected him and went out with Joshua who is rich.

3. SELF FULFILLING PROPHECY- self-fulfilling prophecy is a prediction that directly or indirectly causes itself to become true, by the very terms of the prophecy itself, due to positive feedback between belief and behaviour.

In this scene, Joshua easily get discourage by Alwin’s bad advise and end up having a awkward date with Dinna.

4. MOTIVATION (EXTRINSIC MOTIVATION)- Extrinsic motivation drives people to do things for tangible rewards or pressures, rather than for the fun of it.

For this concept, Joshua keep his motivation high by telling himself he will get laid by the girl he went out with.

5. AGGRESSION - as behavior that is intended to harm another individual who does not wish to be harmed

Joshua saw Dinna steal his phone and chase after her. Instead getting mad at her, Joshua forgive her after listening to her reason.
