This is no surprise, but LinkedIn is the social
network most often used by recruiters. 87% begin
the recruiting process by sourcing candidates on
LinkedIn – and why wouldn’t they? The network
has 259 million members, and 38% of its unique
traffic comes from mobile devices. That’s a good
thing for recruiters hoping to hire through
LinLinkedIn, because mobile users are more active
than desktop-only users. More activity means
more engagement, which is what all recruiters
want from candidates.

Twitter likes to say it was "born mobile." While
today's job seekers are not yet at the point where
they can say they are native mobile device users,
many have come to treat their mobile devices as
extra appendages. If it's engaged job seekers

to find them. Almost half of primary mobile users
arare less likely to access Twitter via a desktop or
laptop. If Twitter recruiting is a foundation of your
organization's social recruiting strategy, a mobile
presence is a must.

media and recruiting? It sure does. The company
review site plays as much of a role in whether a
candidate applies for a position at a company as
Facebook or Twitter do in whether a recruiter
decides to interview and/or hire a candidate. And
more than half of job seekers read company
reviews on mobile devices, which means thereviews on mobile devices, which means they’re
supplementing the job searching they’ve done on
mobile through the other social networks with
available crowd-sourced research and opinion.
