What’s included?AttendantOne of our friendly members of staff will be on hand to assist you on the day. They can assist with music or act as an usher for your guests.

MusicMusic is a very important part of any wedding ceremony and weddings at Duthie Park are no different. Most brides and grooms use our PA system to connect a device or play a cd with music that they would like to play but we welcome pipers and other musicians at our wedding ceremonies.

FlowersWe would be happy to discuss your floral requirements for your big day. We can produce bouquets for the bridal party and/or produce displays for decoration. Prices are available on request.

Things to note• Whilst the Temperate House is closed off to the public during

weddings the David Welch Winter Gardens are not. Signs are erected advising the public a wedding ceremony is in progress and noise should be kept to a minimum.

• The use of confetti is not permitted within the park, gardens and open spaces.

• Entrance to the David Welch Winter Gardens is via the rear car park off Polmuir Rd.

• The Council reserves the right to hold any other event in the locality of the venue.

• Regular watering of the plants takes place daily, which may result in the paths being wet.

Temperate House, David Welch Winter Gardens The David Welch Winter Gardens is a beautiful location for your ceremony. The glass house complex is one of the largest indoor gardens in Europe and provides a year-round garden experience. It boasts a beautiful floral paradise with many rare and exotic plants on show from all over the world, ideal for couples with a love of nature.

Victorian Bandstand If you are looking for a more intimate wedding, the Victorian Bandstand is almost perfectly preserved and is one of the most recognisable features of Duthie Park, providing a unique setting, for a special couple.

Duthie Park is available for Weddings and Civil Partnership Ceremonies during:

1st March to 31st October 9.30am to 5.30pm

1st November to 28th February 9.30am to 4.30pm

Capture that special moment...Duthie Park and The David Welch Winter Gardens offer an array of settings to capture that special moment, providing an impressive and lasting reminder of your wedding day. You can opt to have everything from your ceremony to just your photographs at Duthie Park. Access for your photographer prior to your wedding and any additional requirements such as decorations and music, can be arranged in advance.

Temperate House, David Welch Winter Gardens

1 hour £100.00 *

1½ hours £150.00

2 hours £200.00

Our prices include the use of the Temperate House for your ceremony, photographic and/or video session. Seating is available for up to 70 guests - 50 seated in the main ceremony area and 20 seated in the upper level. If required, a rate can be negotiated if the venue is required for longer than 2 hours.

Victorian Bandstand

Up to 2 hours £300.00

The above charge covers the use of the Bandstand for your ceremony and photographic and/or video session within the park and Winter Gardens. Seating is available for up to 40 guests within the bandstand, more guests can be accommodated if seated out with the bandstand. The David Welch Winter Gardens will also be reserved for the ceremony in the event of bad weather.
