SO YOU WANT TO START YOUR OWN SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT?

Consider your audience and how often you will want to communicate with them on social media. What will be the purpose of your social media account? Will you be advertising for upcoming events or highlighting student acheivements?

Be realistic about your goals. Can you get 50 followers in your rst month? 100 in three months? Creating social media content is time consuming. How many followers will it take to make managing a social media account worth your time and eort?

How much time will you have to commit to social media every week? Will you post at least once a day, every day? Or at a minimum of 3x/week? It is important to post often and engage with your followers to get the most out of your social media account.

How much do you have to say?

How many followers can you get?

Do you have time to make regular posts?
