social media and international development
DESCRIPTION
ICT and social media have been taken up with enthusiasm by some in the international development community, seeking innovative solutions to the problems faced by millions of the world’s poorest and most disadvantaged people. This session will look at 3 or 4 ways in which new media has been used in developing countries and will discuss what UK based NGO’s can learn from experiences overseas.TRANSCRIPT
